It’s taken me 40 yrs to realise the tingles I’ve had since childhood are ASMR . Page turning and nail varnish bottles are powerful triggers. Turns out my 9 yr old also has it too!
30 something years for me....I just looked up tingles on top of my head and the search led me to this...Maria was one of the first asmrtists I discovered...the first was Amalzd with her Arabic accent nail video....
My dad passed away 20 years ago but if he were here today, I'm sure he would be proud that his son falls a sleep watching an elegant lady showing off her nail polish collection.

I used this when I would study while I was in nursing school. Then I used it to sleep after stressful shifts during the height of the pandemic. I’m so thankful I found ASMR and Maria over 10 years ago now 😌

Everything about this video is sublime! The gentle hand movements, whispering to yourself, writing on the pages, multiple camera angles....I am in heaven!! PERFECT. I’m a teacher and love listening to ASMR during my planning period while I grade. It helps re-focus me and calm my sometimes-frazzled nerves. This specific type of video is WONDERFUL. 🧡
I do this too! I don't use earphones though, and get some funny looks when another member of staff walks in. The lady who cleans my classroom is so used to it now and has grown to like the "background noise" as she calls it. I get serious anxiety when school's finished for the day, and I start working through my to do list. Maria and Yanghaying sort that out for me 😊

Every Maria’s video is so unique, she never did the same type over and over again (like hundreds of scalp massage or personal attention vids that looks the same) She proof that asmr could be so different and interesting to watch 💜

Non-engaging ASMR videos are some of my absolute favorite. This one and the crystal cataloging video you did a while ago have given me the most tingles. It's nice because I don't have to necessarily listen to what is being said or follow along. I would love to see more of these in the future!
She is a genius. Hands down. I have known that I have been asmr sensitive since I could recognize what it was...at about 4 years old. That was 36 years ago and she is the only one that can give me the tingles over and over. She is amazing.
This has been my sleep video for months now. So many others do the annoying finger swiping that’s too fast, tapping and crinkling that is too fast, or even whisper too fast. This video is perfect!
While this type of video is not always my top pick, it is such a blessing when I have a migraine! Nothing too harsh to set it of but something to tune into to help distract until it goes away. I love the verity you make Maria. It shows your loving heart that you make sure to have something for everyone and for every situation!
Totally agree. If I get a bad migraine and need to fall asleep I will put on a video like this. Anyone else's channel is very irritating to me in those moments but Maria is the best. ♥️

The downside of hair that grows really fast is that you only get a style to last a few weeks! My own hair was a nice short bob a few months ago. It's now down to my shoulders. SO expensive to keep getting it cut.
I think this is my favorite asmt video of all! My grandmother used to have a Hair Salon and I spent so much time going there when I was a kid, playing with the manicure's nail polishes 🤣 she passed away this year and everytime I have anxiety over this, I watch this video because it calms me down and brings me good memories about her.

Yes Maria! I love ambient non engaging asmr! Last year I studied for 6 months to get my TEFL certificate (teaching English as a foreign language) I would listen to your ambient asmr as studying was so boring and the only thing that would get me through were your videos! When I work from home I need to have some sort of background noise around me otherwise I cannot concentrate, now I turn on this video and I am not working alone anymore! and sometimes I feel like I don't work at all by being hypnotized... this video is amazing!
See, and I prefer unintelligible videos. All other videos my brain is trying to process what's being said and I focus on that instead of letting my brain turn off and fall asleep. The light unintelligible whispers and background noises are what get me to sleep pretty quickly.
I always find very soft or unintelligible whispers soothe and calm me immensely whilst I work. I immediately feel everything start to drop, nerves, blood pressure, tension.... I just relax and work beautifully ❤️

This has been my sleep video for months now. So many others do the annoying finger swiping that’s too fast, tapping and crinkling that is too fast, or even whisper too fast. This video is perfect!

While this type of video is not always my top pick, it is such a blessing when I have a migraine! Nothing too harsh to set it of but something to tune into to help distract until it goes away.

The downside of hair that grows really fast is that you only get a style to last a few weeks! My own hair was a nice short bob a few months ago. It's now down to my shoulders. SO expensive to keep getting it cut.

Yes, she and darryl created that line of polish. Due to personal reasons, they weren't released. She talks about this in a previous video. Maybe someone remembers exactly which one and they can comment below. Good catch!

Yes Maria! I love ambient non engaging asmr! Last year I studied for 6 months to get my TEFL certificate (teaching English as a foreign language) I would listen to your ambient asmr as studying was so boring and the only thing that would get me through were your videos! The whispers so low you can't hear give me anxiety, I keep trying to hear what's being said.. everything else about the video I love.
See, and I prefer unintelligible videos. All other videos my brain is trying to process what's being said and I focus on that instead of letting my brain turn off and fall asleep. The light unintelligible whispers and background noises are what get me to sleep pretty quickly.
