The Mid-Season Update brought a lot of changes with Patch 1.4.3 to Diablo 4's Season 4. Find out how and which builds will rise to the top and how impactful the changes to the game are.
Regular spiders in pit 100+ could use a retune perhaps, they can offscreen you through 60k health in less than a second. Hard to see a few little webs through the screen clutter, before you can react you're spider shit.
Im with Mipy on Tempering. The whole point of GA was to have that 'Feel good' moment when an item drops, which tempering directly interferes with. Pick your tempers, get rid of masterwork rerolling. Makes double and tripple materwork crits actually imlressive and feel good. Instead of just a process to go through with a monumental gold sink. Then add an item that can brick your item or increases its value further (Vaal Orb) If you want even more evidence that the system is operating degeneratively - the META evolving around 3GA's now is to sell them because it isn't worth tempering.
@@bipolarexpress9827 I presume you're unaware the people who are buying 3GA items are in the 0.01% of the playerbase with a good portion of them swiping their credit card for gold.
The maxroll druid pulverize leveling guide needs to be updated. There is verbiage about not upgrading the weapon constantly which was something to be concerned with from season 0-3 but with season 4, you can imprint whenever, wherever.
I agree with all the Uber boss statements the only thing they need to do in my opinions make all normal versions drop 925, otherwise some loot tables are non optimal
Bricking items is bad. Make it like masterworking. Gamvling fo3s not make a game better. This is the only aspect where i think streamers are actively hurting non-streamers. Sorry you guys play 8 hours a day and get bored. Gamba is awful.i dont gamble in real life and i dont want to in a game i play for fun. I play to challenge myself and try harf content. A gamba mechanic isnt making challenging plays. Its straight shit.
Today i bricked 3x 3 ga items after i literally rolled the same affix 18 times in a row. Please any of you jistify how thats a good system. Ive played almost 300 hou4s this season and i just uninstalled.thr systrm drives more players away than it brings. Its bad for the game. A mindless grind that you have no liberty over sucks. Honestly, wudi's opinion screams privilage and i dont usually get that from him. Its sad he's trying to make the game worse for others.
If the tormented bosses are "just for fun" then why are they more efficient in terms of uniques per boss mats? Make them equal and then we can talk about how having torment be extra super hard is not a negative experience for anyone. I'd bet in this case people would complain "there is no point to do the torment bosses". Saying there is no point in doing tormented bosses makes no sense to me, it is clearly the more desirable path to acquiring uniques if you can clear the content.
to answer one of the question: should there be content that can not be done by everyone: if it rewards actual pieces of gear in the game, then no, the community (the casuals, which is most of the players) will not be happy about it whatever you say ... if you put ultra hard bosses in the game, only doable by a low amount of players, rewards have to be cosmetic only !
Yeah id have to agree with you. I play as much as I can and if they make it to where I must absolutely put 12hrs plus a day to get good gear to be able to do content and get certain weapons that make or break builds I’d be upset af bc I love this game just I got other shit I gotta take care of first haha.
I somewhat disagree. It would be cool if there were a few S-tier build making items that were gatekept by a group activity. The way to make it more accessible to casuals (including myself) would be to implement an in game auction house/ dedicated trading hub. That way if you want to grind for it you can but if you don't have the time or patience you can trade or buy with gold.
@@pelesiren4959 that would be one way to do it, but it would require an AH (which i would like, but i'm not sure blizz is ready to put it into the game yet)
I have casual friends and they do not complain, they login, do whatever they please, get to bed and repeat. They do not listen to 2h long D4 podcast, do not read reddit. They do not care if some bosses are too hard, to the least they would be excited to maybe one day have a chance to kill it. I can see a world where insecure players would not be happy if they cannot compete against nolifers tho.
Nerfing is bad unless something is to strong and it’s not what they want in the game. The goal should be to have a multitude variety of builds able to be played. At the moment it’s every new season has different builds viable and the past builds are weak at least it’s what I’ve seen occur. Instead of keeping the other builds viable with being everything else in line. So if you choose to play a rogue u have 10-20 different builds u can play instead of having 1-3 and the rest are to weak. New items that are introduced should be generalized not focused in one skill. Items should open up different play styles not just increase in damage for a certain skill. Item design is weak so far aside from a small portion of them.
I don't knock any of these guys at all for having top 1 percenter takes on the pinnacle content. That stuff SHOULD remain locked off naturally as top 1 percenters only achievable. With that being said though, I don't know that I'd go as far as saying they did the health nerf thing for no reason. Clearly they had data showing that most of the base wasn't even making it to 60 in the pit to see the tail end of the masterwork system. They said as much. Maybe if anything they should've left the tormented bosses alone. Purely do the nerf for pit stuff & nothing else. Idk. & yeah to answer Wudi's question about not being able to kill tormented bosses feeling bad....I'm an average level andy. Which I'm fine with. I've never once deluded myself into thinking I could solo/clear pinnacle content. But it DOES feel HELLA bad when I can get upward of 90k attack power on a barb (clearly my build was the issue), & STILL visibly see that I'm doing negative damage to a tormented boss, lmao. It's a ME issue. No question. But it still felt bad. I think the bigger issue is that D4 absolutely hits a point where if you're not running your build almost exactly to a tee the exact way the top 1 percenters have figured out & shared online...none of your stats or theory crafting seems to do anything when you try the pinnacle content. You're basically stuck either succeeding with someone else's build. Or failing experimenting with your own. Or at least that's been my experience as 1 nobody.
The problem with tempering is that it's at the start of the items journey. Blizz said they wanted the items to have a journey. Right now, that journey is find awesome item then most of the time brick it and scrap it. That's not a journey. Have temper like enchanting or have it where you can pick any choice on a specific temper recipe but limit durability then masterwork with limited rerolls. Or add some enchanting mechanic after master working that could brick. The "brick" shouldn't be the first step of upgrading an item.
i'm a huge fan of preparation, in combination with exposure you can have infinite deathtrap and imbues, and caltrops help getting the trapped status, too
What the hell is Blizzards fascination with making basic skills the meta and making them more valuable that all other skill, what is the point of any other skill other than movement. God Blizzard are fkn pathetic. It's like they want us to play PoE2.
@@cpdrrage I think that's an okay system, narrowing the pool of possible affixes is a good strat, but I'm definitely not on board with the take of "should be able to get a perfect roll by throwing enough gold at it"

I play softcore and totally agree with Wudijo and Kondyss re tempering. It keeps me playing, always having upgrades to farm for.
Anyone who says that items shouldn't be bricked is crazy. Kondyss is spot on.

Fix your guides with attack speed on weapons and off hands.Druid/sorc/etc.
Attack speed cannot roll on weapon slots
Removing torment bossess from the season journey is BS. There are 3 months to finish it... people expect to finish all the end game in 3 weeks.

The M1PY position on wanting items to be unbrickable is an INSANE take. literally just makes playing the game pointless. so whiny
last epoch does it well with their system where you can get a useful affix while not being the one desired, I think that is a better alternative
