Is the Delta 2 Max any quieter than the Delta Max power station? Have they really improved the cooling design?

I ordered the Delta 2 Alos as I was SUPER excited about the Delta 2 Max, but canceled last minute as I found it uses the Delta Max fans and it rated 50db also. I called Ecoflow, they'r the ones who told me. So I will wait for them to upgrade the Delta 2's fans and THEN I will get that one too. The D2M is awesome though and even the River 2 Pro I found to be almost as quiet.

Just ordered the “original” Delta Max (2016wh) because it’s on sale and “Hobotech” has an 8% promo discount, so the price is under 55 cents per watt hour, so I hope this will make it seem quieter. The Delta 2 Max is 40% more expensive, even with sale price and promo discount. Btw, at least here in the US, there’s an option on Amazon to buy the main unit plus external add on battery for about $1600 (including the 8% promo discount). Thanks for the videos, I’ll watch them again for anything I’ve missed once the unit arrives.

Have you used Delta Pro Ultra, or the upcoming Delta Pro 3? If so, how does the noise of this one compare to those?

Thanks for the videos and update! I started looking at the open, gas generators, then the inverter types, but now I am thinking (for my use case) best is just to get one of these for emergency backup. But, I have a dumb question: when I see "1024Whr", does that mean the unit will produce 1024 watts of usage for one hour? Basically, run my fridge for 1 hour?

That is what it means, yes. What I would question is that your fridge uses 1000W?? Our fridge uses 80W when running and it’s only on 50% of the time at most.

@@tdcattech True, I should have said "Basically, run my for 1 hour?". I am hearing lots of different numbers for appliances, including for startup vs running. Maybe some real life examples?

could you replace the fans with silent computer fans ?

That would probably help as long as the cooling capability was matching. I guess it’s pretty important to keep to keep the li-ion cells cool with the inverter heat etc.
