DIY Sliding Garden Door. After fencing in my garden to keep out the deer I decided to try my luck with building a diy sliding barn door style door for the entrance.
Ron Shook thanks! This one was frustrating for sure. I had to make so many adjustments to get it to work right. I almost gave up but I'm glad I didn't. It's still working great and I haven't had to change anything after I hung it, and it has seen a lot of traffic.
I'm a (ahem.....) 70 yr old lady who needs to build a gate for the community garden that the deer don't laugh at and knock down. I believe this will do the trick, and since I'm pretty handy, should be able to do this. Thanks for the video!
That sounds like such an awesome project! It’s very nice of you to take it on. I’ve had seeeeeveral deer try and get into the garden and none have been successful yet. I really hope the build goes well for you and have an amazing growing season! Cheers
Not bad. It's just a bit confusing with all the trial and error but the basic idea is good and easy. Your videos show a lot of thought and are appealing. They are, except for the microphone noise, very well executed.
All that grass / weeds etc etc between your raised beds.. mulch all that pal, less work for later .. just a thought ...
Very nice! if I ever do a bigger vegetable garden, I may incorporate something like this into the design.
JBtheExplorer thanks, next is trying to figure out a good, automated watering system.
Thanks for showing step, by step, to the building challenged...LOL, I think I can do this now......Following your Instructions !
