Thanks Paul! Do you have an opinion on adult tongue tie release (frenectomy). It’s been recommended for me and I’ve always felt restriction in this area but I’m very averse to any kind of surgery. Would love to know your thoughts. Thanks for everything as always!

      HI,
the surgery can be very helpful for a variety of reasons. I've known various clients to have it done, and for children of my patients and clients as well.
      Love and chi,

Hi Doc, would you recommend a carnivore diet for Crohns , and what diet or protocol is best for Lupus, my mom has lupus

It may help you to look into the GAPS diet and the work (books & podcasts) of Dr. Natasha Campbell Mcbride for some dietary insight into those diseases. The main thing is to eliminate trigger foods (Paul talks about this all the time). That's why carnivore works for a lot of people because it is an elimination diet.

      Hi,
Please see the sections on individualizing your diet and my 4-day Rotation Diet in my book "How To Eat, Move, and Be Healthy!" to get the necessary information on what I recommend. Because my approach includes meal-to-meal feedback from one's body, emotions, and mind, the approach applies to anyone with their specific needs. I teach my students "not to treat the disease that has the person, but to coach the person that has acquired a disease." The same disease can be present in any number of individuals for a variety of different, and sometimes "very different" reasons.
One of the most important components of healing is detoxification, so always consider that one of the most important first steps. Andrew Kaufman, MD has lots of great detox information, protocols, and supportive supplements.
      Love and chi,
      Paul Chek
