(C-)RAW Buffer Test | Which SD card for Canon R6 Mark II's 40fps burst mode

- The Canon EOS R6 Mark II [ vturl.de/a/1zf ]* is a performance beast with up to 40 fps, reasonable sizes image buffer and an almost perfect autofocus system. But you still need fast SD UHS-II memory cards, both for video and fast burst shooting.

Thanks for the Video.
Thanks!
when clicking on this video i kinda assumed there would be some definitive info, but I assumed wrong. 'slight increase, maybe 50%, kinda cool' is not a usable metric. if the channel wasn't named 'Memory Card Lab" perhaps I wouldn't be so surprised by the lack of real info/data. lot of photogs really want real numbers, i'm sure if you put the work into definitive info/data you would see lot better performance from this channel, until then it's a thumbs-down from me 🤷♂
As mentioned in the video, feel free to check out the link in the video description for all test results and hourly updated price/performance recommendations: vturl.de/g/1ze
Video is just a bad medium to present such data, especially for ober 80 SD cards.
i hear ya, but its at least worth putting some of your hard work on the screen for relevancy. otherwise, it just comes off as unresearched opinion 🤷♂ you've got incredibly valuable info that a LOT of photogs want to learn, but it gets burried by the overly loose & candid style of video and links that look like click-bait traps. not trying to be an a-hole here, but some small refinements to your format and I think you'll see your audience & engagement grow (which I'm guessing is the goal) @@memory-card
How about for video shooting? Ar all recording options available for UHS I cards, UHS II V60 Cards, or some of the modes require V90 cards?
The X-T5 can use 50-360 Mbit/s for recording, so V60 is fine for the maximum :)
@@memory-card well, I can calculate Mb to MB, the question is if it is softwere locked, like some limitations on Sony bodies, that lock you out of certain modes, even tho theoretically the card writes fast enough..
Hello!!! I just bought a canon R6 mark ii … I love it…. But my burst mode is about half the speed you seem to be shooting in the video… I got my settings in JPEG, electronic shutter… help please!!
Hard to tell from far away. Maybe too long exposure time, 3rd party battery, anti-flicker mode... But in H+, speed should be the same
Might be a dumb question but where is the artificial shutter sound option? Took a look through the menus and feel like it's not there! Update: I had the volume set to disable in the menu, and if you enable it, you can control beep sound, shutter, and some other stuff.
Where do u find the volume?
@@Smilldon Yellow page in the menu in the 3rd page. Have to have the beep on and then you can mess with the volume I believe?
At 2m12 you suggest you can reduce the speed from 40fps, but I can't find how to do that - can you advise?
In _Drive Mode,_ you can switch between Continuous High+ (H+; 40 FPS), Continuous High (H) and Continuous Low (L).
This thing not having a CF express type B slot is just stupid
Yeah, same for the EOS R7.
