Great review Anthony. That is a nice SUV but 43 grand for a RAV is no bueno. I did not know that the battery life is so short as well. I've not heard anything about Prius battery life but I seem to remember that Toyota at one time was subsidizing replacement of those. My weekend was pretty lazy and only in the mid 80s which is great. I hope that you had a good weekend and that the next week won't be too crazy. Have a good one Anthony
Toyota has increased the price on all models and sadly from what I’m seeing the new 40k was the old 30k. The battery part is something that is overlooked but unfortunately when they go it’s not inexpensive to fix. Today I had to move all my furniture downstairs so my contractor can start the remodel tomorrow (7 hours 🥵😂) it wasn’t too bad but tomorrow I have to move everything in the garage. Looks like I’ll be sleeping outside lol, I guess I’ll use an air mattress downstairs or go to a neighbor for a few days. That’s awesome weather for you guys and it’s alway good to relax. Thanks James
@@HawkeyeRides Oh wow that is a ton of work! I hope that you won't be hurting too badly tomorrow! Say no to the air matress and go to a hotel! Bugs love me so for sure outside would never be an option here lol!! It was painful relaxation. My massage guy beat me up pretty well but it will be for the best. Have a good one Anthony
Don’t stress about the batteries! I drove a Camry Hybrid for 14 years with over 240K miles, and it never had an issue. I sold it and got a Subaru Outback in 2022, and now I’ve bought a 2024 RAV4 Hybrid. Toyota’s hybrid technology has been reliable since the 2000s, so the hybrid battery isn’t something to worry about. Honestly, you’ll probably get tired of your car or want to upgrade before the battery even gives you any trouble. It’s pretty rare for batteries to need replacing unless there's direct damage. So yeah, don’t worry about it!

Actually 10 years/ 150k on the battery. So that is very long time and I would not worry about it. Toyota knows what they are doing even then that is a great warranty and piece of mind.

Thin hood reminds me about the hail I've seen more frequently this year.
Almost every new vehicle the hood and panels have become super thin 👍
Standard Toyota factory warranty is 10 year/100k mile on the battery. These batteries last for years.
@@TH-nj5lu the warranty is correct thanks for your input

I'm glad I watched this as I was sure these batteries lasted about 10 years, not 3-5! 😳
It can happen and when it does then it’s expensive.
The battery on my 2017 Camry hybrid still going strong after 7 years and 160,000 plus miles.
The Toyota hybrid models come with a 10 year/150,000 mile warranty for the hybrid batteries.
43k+ for a rav4 is insane
It has gone up in price
