The Plant Traveller: Copiapoa Cacti

- These are generally cacti from the Atacama Desert in Northern Chile which grows in area where there is little vegetation and rain is almost non-existent. Yet these plants are very well known in domestic cultivation, as they can easily be grown from seeds in a regular cactus mix. Keep in mind they are very slow growing and will remain very small for a while.
The popular images of the video contains Copiapoa hasseltoniana and Copiapoa cinera, greenish body with creamy yellow tops, and very easy to grow. Below are a few others.
