Such a great channel. As someone who plays a few days every season I always rely on you to tell me what's going on in the game and what I missed. I don't care about controversies of OP build level 150 with super specific SP allocation. I log in for a few hours after work to kill one billion demons and mess around until I find a fun build, and this channel is one of the only ones who gets it.
@@sephirian688 I watched a few min and he didn't answer it quickly enough. I don't have time to watch episodic TV episode length UA-cam videos anymore.
yeah a option to just salvage every non ancestral items for endgame players would be enough for me. especially this season where we get so many ressources from the tree its not even worth it taking unique/legendary to sell/salvage
I agree with Rhykker. Season 7 is the best version of Diablo 4 yet. However despite the elevated quality of the game over past seasons, the current quality of Diablo 4 isn’t even half of what it could be after the next expansion when the Paladin, greater evils, angels, new zones, and Endgame 2.0 gets introduced into the game.
@@nerdobject5351 Looking forward to being slowing bled dry by Blizzard? Guess there are all sorts huh. *Also not to be like, rude, but both of these comments seem so heavy with wishful thinking and cope. What if none of that happens? What if it just gets worse? The game is good because of what they haven't done but hypothetically will? You are excited because if they do exactly what you want sometime in the future that will be amazing because relative to how average it is now, it will have to be amazing? More amazing than if they just made it that way? Am I getting this right?
@@Heakz But I think the game is good now. It’s only going to get better. If it gets worse I don’t play it and move on with my life. I think people get emotionally attached to these game because they want it to be a lifestyle. PoE2 is going to be no different. The game is a mess right now and because they charged half the price and said “Early Access” no one will say anything bad. Which is wild to me. There slow bleed that game with features and content as well.
I dont want a loot filter . I want a customable pet where you can select what he disenchant and what not. Like grey , blue ,yellow, legendary , ancestral and then 1,2,3,4 star
Nothing better on weekend than waking up without an alarm at my own time, sipping a warm coffee, and watching my Saturday morning cartoons. Thank you Rhykker for capturing that very nostalgic time slot as your upload schedule. I thoroughly look forward to these weekly. It's an inner momentary 20 minutes of peace. Truly appreciate your hard work.
Thank you for going over your experience. As someone who works M-F and has limited time to blast your time discussing the game and getting the developers to learn from you is greatly appreciated. I have not played a season fully for a couple of seasons. This is by far and away my favorite of all time. I started with a sorcerer incinerate build and I tore through content like cake. After I hit about paragon 100 I swapped to the items I built up for the end game version and its mind blowing how strong this build is. What an absolute blast!!
After coming back from trying POE2, it's really noticeable. Being able to right stick cycle through the loot to pick up what I want is a huge QOL bonus.
It would be nice if the pick up buttom prioritize the loot if i have mobs near i cant pick the loot on my feet cuz a mob is targeted and i ca t press X to pick up loot until i clewr the mob so it target the loot
It’s understandable that POE players don’t like Diablo 4 and I get that the streamers don’t like it. But it’s not an A+ game for casuals either. I don’t think they are much happier with D4 than the no life blasters. The devs dug themselves a hole by trying to pick up a wider audience now we’re left with a game that was made for nobody.
As an Xbox player you hit it right in the mark when it comes to picking up loot. Im constantly trying to pick up that one manual, legendry item, dungeon key etc.. but instead I have to pick up EVERYTHING then drop all the non wanted items so that I have room for legendry. It's a constant time drag/suck. Overall I'm feeling good with the season so far myself. This is only my second season after taking a long hiatus from D3. Great video, happy to have you back in my feed again!
@occy127 I would 100% do that, but also I'm playing on a TV sitting about 10 back, controller is my only way at this point. Although I'd it had native support i may be convinced to move it to my office. 🤔🤔🤔
As a pc player i play only with a controller in d4, it's the whole laid back approach it like I'll play poe2 with mouse and key board tho idk my brain just does what it wants
Hitting lvl 60 in 3 hours? Yeah streamers play a completely different game than the rest of us lmao. I played about 8 hours since the season started, some solo and some in a group with a few different friends from discord, and I just hit 60 this morning. Treat the game like a job, focus on efficiency like your manager is breathing down your neck, and then do the surprised pikachu face I guess.
@@Winnetou17 Cool, not sure what that has to do with what I said here, but those people can go play a challenging game and pretend its their job. ARPGs have never been that game. Will never be that game.
@@Zeldrosiu are clearly not very experienced with Arpgs. Ever played Diablo 2? Path of exile ? Torchlight 2 ? All very challenging, it was not until Diablo 3 that arpgs started to become casual and easy. And honestly, there’s nothing wrong if u like an easy game, but arpgs are definitely on the challenging side of things, specially if you aim for endgame content like pinacle bosses or Ubers in d2. Or even speed running.
@@pedrocosta8658 I've played all those games extensively, literally none of them are what anyone would consider challenging. If you thought those were challenging you're just bad, sorry to have to be the one to break the news. Seriously imagine thinking d2 was hard 🤣 POE?!? 🤣🤣 Torchlight2?!? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Every single one of those games we were blowing up whole screens and and killing the hardest bosses in like 90 seconds tops. Ubers were hard maybe the first time you fight them I guess? I think Andariel in d4 is harder than ubers and shes not actually hard at all she just has a oneshot mechanic lol. You want challenging go play a souls game.
11:07 "Here's what it comes down to: Some people want chocolate cake, some people want apple pie. It's good now that we have both of these things with D4 and Peewee 2..."
We didn't want our screen and inventory cluttered to the point of utter redundancy and annoyance. It was about specific item and ancestral drop rates. Way to misrepresent what was happening.
Honestly D3 was my go to "I want to mindlessly genocide my way to shiny things falling from the sky" and being able to quickly boost a friend to max level so you could grind dungeons for loot together was fun! I dont want to spend days re-running leveling and completing the same tick in a box content every season just to get to the actual grind
Nobody agrees with me but I'll go to my grave insisting that D3 was more fun than d4. I played that game on and off for 10 years. I'm already done with D4 for good.
@@JohnSmith-bk7hk i definitely agree with you. I spent maybe a week in D4 when it launched and immediately went back to D3. I only recently came back to check things out this season and i gotta say, i still prefer D3 even if the rerun seasons are the same
On the topic of Bioware: Bioware is no longer the studio we grew up with, who made games like BG 1 & 2, Neverwinter Nights, KOTOR etc. Like Thomas Mahler said earlier: Brand means nothing, the team (the people working on the games/products in general) means everything. That's more true nowadays than it was before. So you don't have to attach yourself emotionally to a company. DA Failguard failed because it is not a DA game, it only coopts the name for engagement. We all know it is a propaganda machine used for political messaging rather than being a great CRPG. So honestly, good riddance to modern Bioware. Rest in piss, you won't be missed.
i remember finishing dragon age origins and DA2 came out really soon after. i watched all the trailers...? what is this? it didnt seem like the same game, same genre of game, universe, just completely unrecognisable. i saw trailers for the 3rd one and it looked nothing like the 2nd one. i dont think any DA game has ever really been a DA game since the first one. seemed like they made an amazing game in DAO and then just failed the entire franchise ever since.
Bioware only was the publisher. It was Obisidan Studios who made all those games. And they still make games only that they suck and are min-max without good story. Larian Studios are revered for a reason I dont like their turn based stuff but they are very good with the rest.
@@kleinerprinz99 thanks for the clarification. The point still stands though that these companies are no longer the ones we cherished and made great games.
@@RageReaver187 Tell that to the D2 fan bois that still talk like the guys that made d2 are at Blizzard somewhere and are going to make the best diablo someday!
I agree with the loot part. There's too much. After level 30 or so, you're constantly getting legendary drops. The only reason to even pick up legendaries is to salvage them, get the materials and the aspects. That's it. I feel like there's no challenge or rewarding feeling for acquiring them.
I used to hate that there wasn't really much to do after basically being able to 1 shot tormented bosses, Lilith and other higher end stuff, and that it would literally take me about 4 days to finish the season pass and chapters. But now i'm actually pretty glad it doesn't take really long because it gives me time to play the other games that i enjoy.
I am actually having a blast playing this season! I also took a break from Poe2, playing rogue, now just work on an end game system similar to poe2. But I do really like the season, best so far imo!
I think it does that because of where the player is standing. If there isn't adequate space around the character, items have to drop in sequence on the player's coordinates since the items under the player are being continuously picked up. That walkway between the Tree and the Waypoint is incredibly narrow.
The chocolate cake and apple pie analagy was perfect. Thats pretty much how I feel i enjoy both games for different reasons and sometimes i want 1 over the other. Throw in some last epoch as ice cream and poe 1 as high end candy and were swimming in treats!!
@@digital2701361 it really IS though. believe it or not some people actually really enjoy D4 and poe2 or one over the other, who cares what people like, you enjoy what you like and let others enjoy what they like, EVERYTHING is a matter of taste when it comes to entertainment/art
I stopped watching this at 11 sec because I then remembered you were sponsored by D4 doing ads for them so not sure your “Brutally Honest Review” is brutal

So true on the loot filters. We need them no matter what. Even if they have some kind of fix to the loot there will always be a point where certain loot is less important
d3 comes out forgets all the lessons from d2. d4 comes out forgets all lessons learned from d2 and d3. yea lets keep giving them money tripple A money when games that are 40 or less are more complete at launch... just my opinon and glad you can enjoy the game
I'm a weekend warrior kind of a player. I take a month or more sometimes to get the battle pass all finished up partially because I don't play as much as any streamer or teenager could, but also I play multiple games at a time, so I'm bouncing around. I think it needs faster progression than we had at launch. That was great for a first time playthrough and all that, but would have been too much for every season IMO, but it's getting to Diablo 3 levels of speed way too quick. Hope they find a good middle ground.
Generally I don't like to party at the beginning of the season... something like ..i like to discover what's new... so I got to paragon 200 and I have not found a single altar... great job...
try something not that broken and you roughly will see billions. don't be meta-slave. if you want suffer - try something new and unpopular or not working well with current season shtick (like frost mage without summons)
9:33 Barrier makes enemies immune to some game mechanics. I don't remember what mechanics right now, but imagine that, for example, you can't apply bleed or poison to an enemy until you remove the barrier.
i dont know why end game for live service games, aren't just farming currency for microtransactions... if you can farm that and pick cosmetics you want, people would have a good reason to play.. guildwars 2 did this i believe cause you can trade goold for money
There needs to be a big discussion in the gaming community about the target group of games. Some want to play casual because they work 8-9 hours a day, others (although I'm sometimes asking myself how you can play 16 hours a day when you're at least visiting school) want to play 16 hours a day. The simple fact that gaming has become so much work nowadays makes me believe that youth doesn't have a lot to do in school. Another thing to talk about is community, some people would never reach torment4 without skill/gear recommendations from others or websites.
On the term casual, I like to think of another 'hobbyist' class of gamer. To me the hobbyist is a competent player who knows the mechanics, puts together effective builds, and plays efficiently BUT they just don't have the same time as the hardcore blasters.
Exactly. That's why I still enjoy D4 after playing poe2. I get to make my preferred build, get to tweak it, and have some fun with it while not having to play hours and hours every day. The fun is in making the mechanics of the build work, not in grinding forever for incremental increases in power. And when you're satisfied, you can easily make another character and do it again. With poe, leveling through the campaign alone literally takes days...
@2:18 I'll tell you why there's not a lot of complaints this season. Because the people who were complaining left and went to PoE2, and the people who been defending the game throughout the seasons this whole time remained. They enjoyed what we hated. Lol
i respect your commitment, you should be paid more. been watching your content since the first season that Wastes came out for barbs in D3. still enjoy your content.
Agree on a lot of points. Season is in a good state, it's fun, loving the new powers and the root holds. Leveling is crazy fast and gear is well, I thought it was raining on day 1 but wow, endgame gear is too. If they can dial that down a bit, or filter it like you said, and change the barrier to later game, it would go even further into the positive. That said, with the speed of the season, I too will level a few characters and enjoy it, something that I've not done in the past due to time constraints.
I was having fun on Poe2 and I'm still having a blast playing this season. Its sad seeing how few people are playing, but I agree..we NEED A LOOT FILTER! I'm on Console, lootfilter was a game changer on Poe2. D4 needs one. Somehow. I know GGG doesn't make their loot filter, but somehow Blizz needs to get on that.
The reason the reception is relatively positive is because the only people left playing it are casuals and people who are oblivious to the lack of content.
I usually come back at new season start. This season journey is AWFUL requiring tons of RNG to progress. Leveling was fast. I was 60 in about 4 hours total. The content is still lacking.
Once I get a 1ga or better in every slot, I ignore legendaries on the ground. That could be improved. Give me a loot filter that auto sells them. Or even give me a toggle that turns them all into little piles of gold.
What do you mean? You are always on the hunt to get better aspects. It takes awhile to find perfect aspects. You just role around with crap aspects the whole game? You will never knock out those high pits with sub par ones.
I'm a causal player and this season moves a bit too quickly but it is still enjoyable. I love the ability to be creative with your character and don't need a build guide to push. Thx Rhykker
Farming the second toon's set armor for D3's Years of War conquest is not as tedious as Rhykker makes it out to be. Simply play as one class and, near the end of your season, let Death's Breaths and yellow/blue/white mats pile up. Run GRs to generate blood shards and gamble for pants. Put all yellow pants in stash. Create second toon for a different class, grab the yellow pants from the stash, and upgrade them in the Cube. Once you have five (plus RoRG) or six identical set pants, convert set items to turn them into an entire set. Since you probably have level requirements removed by the Altar, you can immediately wear them on the new level 1 toon. Change difficulty to T6 and play the game. 10 minutes later, you are L70 and good to start running the Years of War conquest.
That.. sounds very tedious tbh. Grind up mats to craft stuff, grind other mats to gamble stuff, gamble once more in a different way, gamble yet again to get the full set. Remove level requirements on each item for your toon, level the toon to max level. Yeah, no thanks lol.
Yeah i am in the same boat aswell. I have no interest in vessel of hatred or to play it asap really. I just want zones similiar to act 1 in like every other diablo. A simple forest. Sprinkle on top a paladin/templar and i would surely return.
What makes me sad is: Diablo 4 - 100$ in launch... worst than an EA ... Diablo 4 SH - 50$ : poor expansion... Next Expansion - probably more 50$ .... how much money i will stay giving to blizzard to get a mediocre game ?
Coming from season 3 who ABSOLUTELY hated that experience s7 is a HUGE improvement and really nice to see blizzard actually listen for once. And loved all the life of quality updates theyve added and the mob density felt more satisfying. Farming mats no longer feels like a chore.
I completely agree with your D4 = leaning into casual play take. I personally think it makes more sense for where the game is currently. My biggest issue with the earlier seasons(besides needed quality of life changes) was the leveling grind and limited options for viable builds among classes. You couldn't realistically level up multiple classes or experiment with different builds unless you had 8+ hours a day to grind. If you DID have the amount of time needed to accomplish that, you would be dissatisfied with the lack of endgame content. The game was at odds with itself by how it was designed. Quick leveling and an abundance of loot allows players to actually play multiple classes and try different builds within those classes. The ability to save builds and swap them out helps even more. This is very refreshing for a casual player and will hopefully bring more people into the fray that don't have a large allotment of time to play daily. While endgame content is limited for a hardcore player/streamer, as a casual gamer, ubers, the pit, perfecting your paragonetc, etc are a decent endgame. I personally haven't played it, but POE2 seems to have cornered the market on the hardcore ARPG players that want a very in depth progression. D4 went in the opposite direction and catered to a more relaxed power fantasy type progression. If these were racing games, D4 would be akin to a game like Burnout or Mario Kart whereas POE2 would be closer to Gran Turismo. Both are great in their respective lanes and it's good overall for each other.
Thanks for being honest and having integrity, brother. You're a gem. I'll likely never be back to D4 but I'll look forward to a day you describe a season that sounds like it's worth playing (for me) for more than 10 hours
Too much loot and 99% of it usless But i still have to pick every offnsive item bec im looking for specific aspect😅 Jumping between Torment kind of weird T2 i dont take damge T3 i get one shot !? Knowing there is few things im missing behind expansion feels sucks tbh I will never buy vessel of hatred (the price the reason)
I think the most annoying part about this season is that headhutns are cool and fun and effective, but literally everything else is annoying and a chore to do. If you want to play as ideal as possible, you never leave the headhunt zones, up to the point where you do boss-runs. But then the Season Journey, which gives you aspects and boss-mats and other cool things is just "do Helltide for 2 hours for no reason", "Do nightmare dungeons that give you absolutely nothing", "Do a Legion event and a World Boss (but only in a party). They also give you nothing." and then at some point you need to level your glyphs, so you have to do Pits, which, surprise surprise, give you absolutely nothing, except for the glyph-XP. Then you want to masterwork at some point, so its off to infernal Hordes. Guess what, they give you nothing useful, except for obducite. Oh man, you want to use the lost powers? Do some Dungeons or pits again, maybe in 4000 runs you'll get that damn altar and get the wrong power, haha, sucks to be you. In Season 6, I absolutely enjoyed every endgame activity, because they all seemed similarly useful and fun. Now you legitimately feel like you are only wasting your time if you do anything besides headhunts. But it still takes forever to get XP at a certain point, and you barely get item-upgrades anymore because shit drops so much, by paragon 100 you have at least 2GAs on every item-slot and all witch-powers on max level.
@yGKeKe if you only played headhunts the entire time, you'd have them. Obviously, getting 2 GAs that are also useful needs more luck than playtime, but the witch powers should be easily done. If you did other things, like pit or hordes, you may not have the witch powers, but you have higher glyph xp or better masterworking already.
@LostMoneyGarage that makes zero sense. If you "have work and touch grass" that means you have LESS time to play. If he's paragon 100, but doesn't have the same gear, etc. That means he played less efficiently, which would make him spend MORE time in the game. Maybe start thinking before commenting. Don't hurt yourself.
Yes but they shouldn't try and make it as slow as poe 2 , I preferred that I didn't have to dedicated my entire afternoon to d4 to progress , though it is too quick even for me
@H4NN4BLESL4YER that's what's funny to me, is that legendaries are basically meaningless now, YET if you actually need a high rolled one for your build you may have to grind for hundreds of hours! Or you want to max out the seasonal mechanic? Better grind hundreds of hours... But none of that is actually compelling or fun. I don't want D4 to be POE2 either, but it feels like it's way too casual on one hand but then still trying to be super grind sweatsville.
I got Veilguard for christmas and that got me to give Inquisition a shot and so far I am really enjoying Inquisition! I can't wait to beat Inquisition and start Veilguard!
Season 7 D4 is the complete opposite of what Blizzard promised Diablo 4 was gonna be. It's a fun season for what it is, but it's basically Diablo 3.5 at this point.
This, it’s now a spin off of d3 with nicer graphics but gameplay wise I’d pick d3 over d4 I’m just waiting for loot filter and stackable gems/runes in d2r idk why we can’t have those implemented
Call me crazy but I’m so tired of every game people talking about “endgame.” I’ve played ARPGS for years, usually when I get to the “endgame” or max level a character I get bored and start a new alt. It’s more about the journey for me. I’m not spending 100 hours on 1 character just to one shot a boss or two with some rare cheese items
Ya, it's true that compared to D4 POE2 has a really good engagement that keeps me going. I think I'd say for me, D4 is about the journey and completing the battle pass if it's got cool shit in it, POE2 is about the endgame, that power fantasy to see how much I can push those maps. They both got their own flavours, for sure.
Just imagine: "It's a good thing this great movie is only 10 minutes long!" "It's a good thing this wonderful book is only 20 pages long!" "It's a good thing this incredible sex is only 1 minute long!" There's something wrong with a product if you don't enjoy spending time with it...
For some people diablo is just a mobile game sold as a full price triple A title with micro transactions and expansions lol. You just sit down, mash some buttons for 20min and watch loot explode from the corpses and go to bed.
Maybe I'd give it a shot if the base expansion was 60% off, it's just not worth the price. Also it is guaranteed those Veilguard numbers are misleading at 1.5 million players as well, because that does not include sales, as the game is available on EA Play Pro and through EA Play membership via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, so those sales are actually much lower than 1.5 million, on top of the trial.
@@trafficosrs if you mean diablo 4 vessel of hatred, it literally is not. It is a trial up to 25, I'm not redownloading a 100+gb game for a trial up to 25 lol. If it had no restrictions I would say it is available for free but you can't get a feel for end game at 25.
Some have pointed this out, but the "Endgame" is basically just segmented mini-runs. What they need to day is take all of these things and put them together into something cohesive. Also, make it so that it's immediately short, but has the option for length. Chain Nightmare Dungeons together, where at the end of one, you go to another, and it gets progressively harder. Let people choose to bail or keep going. Every now and then through that process, throw in a different type of event entirely. Pit runs sort of do this already, but they could have a version that utilizes nightmare dungeons and use that to suck up all these different event types into a single thing. I feel like D3 did this better with Rifts.
Man stop it. You could make a 2 hour long video on Poe 2 complaints. D4 has SO many Quality of life things over that game but you guys never give Diablo any grace
I'd like to see an infinite horde mode. Wave after wave of more and tougher enemies until you eventually die. It'd be fun to keep improving your build to get a few more waves in the next run.
In regards to his perception on D4's player count- In my experience so far every world boss and public event has full of peeps roaming around BUT then again casuals like me probably only game on the weekend. So far loving this season best one yet! I completely agree with the cake/pie analogy,D4 is my wind down/chillax game.
The loot diarrhea from whisper caches was already an issue on season 6, I figured they would've made something to address it but I guess the way to do it is to open it next to the blacksmith, so your pet can start picking it up while you sort, salvage and store things!
I'm in complete agreement about barriers, it took me 10 - 12 min to kill a level 2 boss and adds, in the bloody first quest of the bloody game it was more painful than hard.
5:24 this is an understatement. yesterday i had all day for myself, within that they i went from lvl 0 to paragon 150-200 or so, doing T4 without a sweat..... i'm basically already in end-game and there is nothing to do except grinding the season mechanic. Which i'm not going to do because it's broken/bugged, as i'm not getting any restless rot anymore....
Ok, yes the loot drops seem to be a lot, but if you check it out, it is mostly all of the same stuff you already have or have gotten already. The level cap is stuck at 750 for legendary items and you need a lot of those things to break down into material for upgrades. So I'm ok with the quantity of loot drops.
yeah, as a completionist, I really struggle leaving stuff behind...but so much loot drops I find myself wasting time just portalling back and forth from every big battle field
Regarding a loot filter, i tend to agree with the idea to fix loot rather than have a filter. But it does also mean that they would need to reduce the options loot grants. Look at last epoch, i need a filter because of all the different class specific items, exalted affixes to filter for, etc. Sure they could reduce the loot drops to be class specific or affix specific, but then i wouldnt be able to watch out for loot for other builds.
My favorite season so far. I agree there's way too much loot dropping, but I think it's b/c that's how you get your aspects. So, if they didn't give you enough "junk" gear (i.e., non-ancestral legos), you'd never get all the aspects that come off gear and max them out. I think fixing how aspects are obtained could help.
I am loving it.. I am very casual, and enjoying the leveling and item drops.. , makes it fun for me. But I get it. understand your point. Love the "Armory".. sure I mean there is always room for improvement, as with anything in life. Only made it to T2 on 4 diff classes. TX for your time.
For Balatro, while you can stop and start a game and it be totally fine. There is always the issue, of needing to figure out where you were at, what your plans were, etc. Though the game is simply enough, that most people might just consider this a nitpick. But completing a game (if you aren't going into Endless Mode), takes like 15-30mins (like it gets faster, once you learn the joker's and things). So at that point, it feels closer to a game you can pick up and put down, and complete a game in that time. So for me personally, I'm a PC guy, so I prefer it there, but I've probably got more hours on my phone.
This is the best season I have played. After playing POE2 which is amazing I didn’t think I would play D4 again. I wanted to try the new season to see what it was like and so far I’m actually really enjoying it.
S7 is a blast. Loot is not a problem, don't fix what isn't broken. One of the season challenges is to salvage [trash] 100...100 ancestral legendary items. If they scale back the loot, this will be a time killer. Getting good GA ancestral items to actually use is hard enough-now we have to toss em. The quantity and quality of loot is fine. Got a 3rd head so looking forward to making one of those rare occult gems👍
I'm maining rogue for the first time this season. Enjoying dance of knives build I made in t4 currently, and after that the rogue gameplay you showed felt really really slow xD It's a nice change of pace for me after playing pulverize druid for multiple seasons.
oh yeah, my goal in the game is mostly try out a new build push it to t4 and by that time I'm sort of done with the main progression, and how this season has been so far I feel like I'm reaching that point to fast, but given how the drops are it might allow me to get into the min maxing at the end of end game. so yeah great start hope it will last a little longer, an atlast type of system would be so amazing if they could pull such thing off for d4. I'm not really into multiple classes I feel like build variety is lower than d3 so I'm not really enticed by anything really just yet, hope to see more items more unique items to that you can build around with cool effects that fundamentally change how you play the class.
About the new PoE2 patch, it was well received but also brought in some more issues in regards to crashing and the devs also added a line of code to help them gather info on the issue.. to this day nothing works in regards to the crashes but I believe Una can finally be heard………..
I like the loot flood, I dislike the nerfs to gem fragments. I like the witch-powers, I dislike the amount of grind it takes to get to the higher levels of faction rep. I've played every season, this one is a pretty good one. In the top 3 for sure.
I don't consider myself casual, but I'm still having fun. I'm playing in T4 with the DoK Rogue, yet to masterwork everything to 12. I'm on P200, got two mythics Shroud and Tyrael, and I see myself trying many builds and probably another character. There is also the seasonal stuff to finish and the last two steps of the journey.
Something not many of these demons to kill in a game about demons 😂.

This spot on. D4 is long term journey and Blizzard wants to slow bleed this over a decade for sure. I’m looking forward to it.

I seriously struggle to understand what's enjoyable about a game with no challenge and no sense of pacing.
Yes for console players we need to be able to use the right joystick to pick our loot

“SHIT IS STILL POOPIN’ OUT OF THIS GODDAMN SACK!” 🤣
It’s understandable that POE players don’t like Diablo 4 and I get that the streamers don’t like it. But it’s not an A+ game for casuals either. I don’t think they are much happier with D4 than the no life blasters. The devs dug themselves a hole by trying to pick up a wider audience now we’re left with a game that was made for nobody.
Great point. If PoE 1 and 2 are tougher, D4 could be the casual fun type. But it's not fun.
Dedicated mouse support? May have to wait for that.
@occy127 I would 100% do that, but also I'm playing on a TV sitting about 10 back, controller is my only way at this point. Although I'd it had native support i may be convinced to move it to my office. 🤔🤔🤔
Bought myself a mouse and keyboard to try on console halfway for this reason lol. Also, seems a lot of games support it anyway.
They should do what BG3 does. You hold X on the ps5 controller and a large circle appears. After that a list pops up and you can select what to loot.
As a pc player i play only with a controller in d4, it's the whole laid back approach it like
I'll play poe2 with mouse and key board tho idk my brain just does what it wants
Hitting lvl 60 in 3 hours? Yeah streamers play a completely different game than the rest of us lmao. On the topic of Bioware:
Bioware is no longer the studio we grew up with, who made games like BG 1 & 2, Neverwinter Nights, KOTOR etc.

I prefer the term "enthusiast" that conveys that you are quite lot into it, but not necessarily hard core.
Lol
Congrats on 700K!!!!!!!!!!!!!

D4 still doesn't have lootfilter? Holy shit lol 😂 gawd blizzard royally sucks
The reason the reception is relatively positive is because the only people left playing it are casuals and people who are oblivious to the lack of content.

it cant be any good, it must be that the people playing it aren't as clever as me..... ok

07:28 loot drop out of stashes
The same thing was in season 6. Unbelievable.

@@nicholasrivera9280 I wouldn't play it if they paid me.
Thank you mister for your on-point writing.
I clearly did something wrong because I'm beyond paragon 100 and I do not have either of those two things you mentioned.
@@yGKeKesome people work and touch grass. You might be one, like myself.
5:45 it's not just you. The loot drops and progression feel way too cracked.
I've been playing POE2 like a madman since it's release, and I'm having a really good time in D4 S7, The new season mechanic is pretty fun ngl.
I like it to i just wish there was an endgame
@@cringeoflife9468 there is no endgame after defeating the pinnacle bosses
Just imagine:
"It's a good thing this great movie is only 10 minutes long!"
"It's a good thing this wonderful book is only 20 pages long!"
"It's a good thing this incredible sex is only 1 minute long!"
There's something wrong with a product if you don't enjoy spending time with it...
For some people diablo is just a mobile game sold as a full price triple A title with micro transactions and expansions lol. You just sit down, mash some buttons for 20min and watch loot explode from the corpses and go to bed.
@@alphaspartan For some people that's all the time they have. Let people enjoy stuff
Diablo shills 🤣. They are happy how Blizzard treats them.
@@psychospin1 I never said it was a bad thing, it's just my explanation for why the game has become more fast paced with leveling.
ikr! " herp derp, I paid over 100 dollars for a game and a dlc, but I only play it 2 weeks every 3 months. Blizzard loves me! "🤡🤡🤡
Its literally free rn for pc and console
@@trafficosrs if you mean diablo 4 vessel of hatred, it literally is not. It is a trial up to 25, I'm not redownloading a 100+gb game for a trial up to 25 lol. If it had no restrictions I would say it is available for free but you can't get a feel for end game at 25.
I'm having fun with the new season content. Had to drag through the campaign at first, but I like the casual play for sure
Whoa, whoa, whoa. I was bombarded for WEEKS with commercials that D4 had reached its "Ultimate form"....but there are still problems??
TRUE
Man stop it. You could make a 2 hour long video on Poe 2 complaints. D4 has SO many Quality of life things over that game but you guys never give Diablo any grace
lol d4 is the worst arpg on the market and everyone knows it. Dead game.
Diablo sucks now. Rhyker you're a shill. Toodaloo...
He is just trying to scoop up all the fan bois that the other content creators left behind when they dropped d4 like the trash it is,
@@bobdooley1864 thank you.
I feel you buddy. Where we are just makes me.. sad? I miss alot of things I used to love.
10h00 AM : Classes are so balance!
10h01
Druid : Hold my beer. haha
17 DMG WOW
@RisenOswald hahahah good old days.
Who is druid with Blood Wave Necro in the stage ? D= *ahhh, are you saying druid is weak ?
With the loot filter they don’t even have to be complex, just give an auto salvage feature where we can set which rarities we don’t want.
I like the changes, the fast leveling, all of it. Some folks would complain if their ice cream was cold...
The game is a joke and everyone knows it.
Congratulation on the 700k UA-cam subs !
Sure they could reduce the loot drops to be class specific or affix specific, but then i wouldnt be able to watch out for loot for other builds.
hey ryker i did not hear a report about loot filter bug on PS5 since the patch on POE2 no loot or currencies are dropping good time good time
My favorite season so far. I agree there's way too much loot dropping, but I think it's b/c that's how you get your aspects. So, if they didn't give you enough "junk" gear (i.e., non-ancestral legos), you'd never get all the aspects that come off gear and max them out. I think fixing how aspects are obtained could help.
It’d actually make me happy with old seasons coming back with slight variation with more attention to end game
Damn…: that chocolate cake apple pie metaphor actually works REALLY well. Lol
There is weeks of fun still in D4, which is all I ask. If it were D3 I would already be bored grinding GRs.
P.S. we need a new affix: "X% Damage penetrates barriers" instead of "Life per second" on rings and amulets😆
Fully agree about the loot for the first time ever I stopped picking up loot most of the time 😢
When you started talking about cakes, all i managed to think about was cakes... now i want cakes..
