I 2nd this. I would like more river vids as well. I'm closer to the river than a lake where I live. Love the videos man. Fs gonna hit that sub button. Ty for your content.
That silent top water is a staple for me at dawn and dusk, and the hits it gets are nothing short of explosive, great tutorial my fellow angler friend.
I still throw buzzbaits all the way up to late October usually lol. Ploppers are in the list of topwaters I like. Poppers and walking baits work sometimes later in the year for me as well. I agree spinnerbait season is upon us lol. I don't drop shot much so I choose a weightless Texas rig due to heavy grass and lillys in most areas I fish. Punching is great all summer till the weed lines start dying off.
Sup Tyler. In RI bass are hitting more everyday, maybe because some cool nights and most waters under 8ft? I always have a drop shot setup you may remember? But some of the other tips will work perfect here Tyvm. 🎣
Another excelent vid....Can you show in another video how to work with these lures? I am starting at bass fishing here in Brazil, and I am struggling work arificial lures correctly. Thanks Ty
Other than the drop shot all the other lures get a work out in September through fall. Spinnerbaits and buzzbaits catch bass for me if they're not on the topwater lures consistently. I substitute the drop shot for a Yum Dinger thrown with a small split shot. Also been experimenting with topwater lures with no rattles. Great video Ty
I'll have to increase my leader length on my drop shot. I suppose I'll have to up the weight size also due to the casting distance shrinking with the longer leader. Thx
Dude I can’t believe I seen that little strike king spinner bait in this video that’s literally my go to bait when nothing else is working almost always saves me from a skunk 🙌🙌
In addition to spinner baits, have you tried umbrella rigs which have spinners along with small to medium swim baits? I found these to be quite effective.
Thanks for the Heads up on the Ark Rods, I been waiting to pull the trigger on a few of their rods and figured this is a great time to. Now to decide which ones I want lol. Any recommendations?
What’s the water temp in your lakes that turn over in September? I live in Pa and we don’t get that until like end of October early November. Just curious
Yo what kinda reel do you pair with that tharp rod? I was thinking of a lew's super duty but curious about your setup and how it feels, balance and weight wise
For every month, pros be like “ the fish might be in the grass, or in a brush pile, they might be at the bottom, or suspended.” 😂 make sure to cover the entire lake because they could be anywhere
Whopper plopper has lost its effectiveness due to market saturation so that's a pass for me. The flatside crankbait Luke the lil John is way more effective
I’ve also noticed a huge downturn in effectiveness with the WP in pressured lakes. But in private lakes and ponds, a few of which I have access to, it’s still a killer bait. Has anyone who switched from R2S WP to Choppo seen any improvement?
Dude I’m a top water crackhead I literally am on the water 30 minutes before sunrise stay 2 hours then leave most of the time just to run whopper plopped or choppos
Could you do more river fishing videos
Boy he’s on the river right now!
Can you do one? Let’s see your skills

Thank dude, it’s been a few weeks and I went out with a deep diving crank and Boom. First large in a while. And a slow lake at that! TY
