Those "floats" were fantastic, and to think they were created with only wood, wire, and paper. Thank goodness they are mounted on a wheeled chassis so the porters can easily maneuver them. Thank you for bringing this to us.
yes, I would not be able to choose one! I love the music as well, it just somehow hits me home, just so nostalgic, although I have heard this for the first time there.
I've just watched all of your Travel in Japan vlogs. As someone who would love to visit Japan but will never be able to, I just wanted to say thank you so much for sharing these and showing us some Japanese culture and those stunning views of your beautiful country. Thank you Taiji
Wauw! The parade looks amazing and I bet that the gorges floats looked even more awesome in person. This is a festival I wish I could see once in my life. So brigth, beautiful, colourful and cheerful 😍
This video brings back many childhood memories of going to the festival with my cousins. My mother was from Aomori prefecture, and she spent many summers at Sukayu Onsen. I can still remember all the sights, sounds, and smells from many, many years ago. Thank you!!
That’s so cool. How was the weather there? I hear the weather is very hot and humid and to avoid travel in summer to Japan. But this video makes me want to try attending the festival.
It is my dream to go to Japan once in my life Japan is my dream country even though I celebrate some Japanese festival at my home. I am so fascinated with Japanese culture and mythology. Thank you for the insight that you need to book well in advance prior to the festival in order find accommodations. Good to be aware

I read it as Nebula/Neptune festival, and was not disappointed. This looked great!
then it must have autocorrected. as I write Nebuta, it automatically correct it to nebula...

the weather was, as you say really hot! but not as bad, since Aomori is much higher north. it wasn't "unbearable hot"

Japan - don't make the same mistake Europe has made - "diversity" - or your festivals will not be around for long....
