Only David Cassidy's voice calls me back to 50 years ago, when I was 3 years old. My grandparents and mother were alive then. I was young and innocent. Thank you Mr. Cassidy, may God bless you always.

Talk about a crush.....I fell so head over heals for this guy when he landed on the Partridge Family. RIP David....beautiful voice....sure miss it.
David obviously looks so much different than I remember him as a child with his long perfectly feathered hair and gorgeous smile singing into the TV camera every Friday night. I would jump up and down and gets so excited when it was time for the family to sing.. he was simply gorgeous so although he looks quite different and his older age he still brings that left shoulder up when he plays and sings just like he did in all those costumes outfits etc. back in the early 70s. When that shoulder comes up and he leans into that mic it’s the same old David that I remember. RIP David Cassidy❤️
I was so fortunate to meet David in the early 1990's. He was so gracious. Whenever I hear him sing he takes me back to that young girl and I feel all those feelings again. I believe he said that what he would want to be remembered for and that was he made people happy. I know I am not only speaking for myself when I say to him "Yes, you made us happy!" RIP, David and I will meet you halfway, someday!
I have loved David Cassidy from the beginning of the Partridge Family. His passing was so sad. Miss him. I had a huge crush on him and I think I still do. Such a heartthrob.
A fabulous voice. I saw him back in 1971 as a child and was just in awe. I feel like he never got the notoriety he deserved. As much as I loved his beautiful looks, his voice is what spoke to me. RIP David Cassidy.
David had a wonderful sense of humor. A infectious laugh,and so much love for his fans. He was a beautiful and caring person. Humble,, honest and was a phenomenal artist. I have so very much respect for him, because even towards the end of his life he gave his all. His addiction came back and that was tragic.
Every single person had a weakness. David's was his drinking.
Some people overeat.

How can you not love David Cassidy?.......I have this song, I have always loved it especially the lyrics. His voice is still beautiful. ❤
Poor baby. He worked so hard. Be was brilliant, and beautiful and that million dollar smile never left him or failed him. My first love, at age 6! He was it!

David grew up and experienced alot of turmoil along the way but, his voice always held us all in aww. I miss you my friend. Rest well in heaven, you are loved and missed.
I cried when I first heard it while watching the Partridge Family. I still cry whenever I hear it. David's voice has so much emotion in it. The song is beautiful and the lyrics are so meaningful. Thank you, David, for recording it. RIP, David. One of the best vocalists.

I used to sing and cry with this song when I was 13.. wishing I could meet David someday.. I'm soon to be 58, I still cry when I sing this song.. Love David forever.

This is the FIRST I've heard that Gerry Goffin wrote this song, after 50 years! Up To Date was my first Partridge Family album, and this was MY favourite song on it. It's why I took up the guitar that summer ☉❣

Such a BEAUTIFUL! song sung by such a BEAUTIFUL! soul, David had a sad life from what I have heard, apparently his last words before he passed were "so much wasted time" a sad statement I am sure we can all agree but he is at peace now and free from his pain & suffering and this is something I am sure we can also all agree is a good thing, wherever you are now David I wish you all the best and I hope you have at last found peace, contentment & calm 💜💜 xx
Sadly, David had already lost his voice. But, I'm thankful, and will always smile when I think of being 12 and 13 and kissing his posters. He was SUCH an adorable kid with great hair back in the day!
