Plus 1 for the helinox chair or a cheaper version the trekology chair is a game changer, I get back ache sitting down without a chair. Defo recommend and worth carrying the little extra weight.
Some very familiar lanes there :) I considered going to the Bushcraft Show this year as it wasn't far from home but was really worried about having my bike stolen (I never trust strangers when it comes to my bike!) so in the end I didn't go. It looks like I was being over-cautious. I might go to Chillington next year. Lack of chairs can be a problem when hanging around the tent. There are some sleeping mats which can be converted to a chair. Otherwise you have to carry a dedicated chair. The OEX ones seem very popular amongst wild campers. I don't know how much they weigh though. NCR 54 is not good. I always use the lanes just east of the A38 when going between Barton-under-Needwood and Lichfield. ATB Paula
Hi Paula. The Bushcraft Show is well worth a visit. We really enjoyed the talks and the atmosphere. It's a very safe and secure environment and we never worried about the bikes or our gear. Everyone wanders around with knives and axes hanging from their belts so theft was the last thing we worried about 🤣 Mary and I have purchased folding camping chairs on Amazon. They were £30 and weigh less than 1kg. Very comfy and worth carrying . Maybe see you ar Chillington 🤩 Sarah
Let us know how you get on with it! We saw a similar item in Decathlon, it was a little heavy but very comfy. We needed a bit of help to get up out of it though 🤣🤣🤣
I have a chair of Helinox. They are very light and you can fold them really small, and they are relatively comfortable. But pricewise, they are a bit more expensive then the ones from Aldi or Decathlon.
Such good videos I’m watching them all again ❤
Me too! 🤩😀👍🏼
Classic retro Kona 👍👍👍
Best bike I ever had 😃
Helinox chair, expensive but they are the Dogs

I’d never heard of the Bush Craft Show. What an atmosphere!
What great enthusiasm! You never stop smiling.

I’m with you on the lack of chair issue, just got a lightweight chair from Aldi, looks ok but not taken it out yet for a test.
