Great band. Saw them tons of times with this line-up and then later with Craig on lead guitar too before he joined The Smiths. Followed them about a bit across the country as well and they were great blokes. Great to see this footage. Thanks for posting
Red Guitars is miles better than the LP version , love that middle eight, who's that guy playing the blue telecaster i never seen him live , seems to be a character
20 years old and playing in a fantastic pop group something every real pop kid wants to do
Still looks and sounds as good as the first time I saw it.

Criminally underrated pop quintet up there with Orange Juice, Aztec Camera and Josef K, Sisters is a great LP
This is pop! class tunes all
saw them at Friars...brilliant!
Smiling at the comment below. The Smiths' sound was heavily influenced by the Postcard bands, who came before them.
Ian Murphy Obviously there's the jingly guitar, but I think the very clean sounding, straight played bass guitar is the most redolent feature
@Modmart a true fan. this video was just for you. Cheers.
Brill band
@kolumbijcan glad you liked them. Cheers.

Met Bobby at an Orange Juice Gig in the Mayfair in Glasgow, lovely guy.
