It’s also bc Sakura is a huge fan of the series. He’s mentioned his love for the series, especially P5 a lot. I’m so glad P5 got amazing representation in Smash. Bc of the Persona stuff they added in smash my friends are into persona now 💕
I was extremely happy too since it’s my favorite game of all time(well I’ve only played royal but still)
The Soundtrack is worth the price alone.
The same can be said about Ultimate in general.
Only missing Life Will Change :( but Last Surprise is great as always and that Beneath the Mask remix is actually amazing

I just checked how Joker is unlocked in World of Light and here's the scoop for anyone who hasn't tried doing so yet. You unlock Joker at the same time as Piranha Plant in World of Light and that's after unlocking 10 characters besides Kirby the pop-up message that was exclusively for Piranha Plant's unlock in World of Light has been changed to all purchased dlc can now be played.

Probably the most surprising thing is they didn't even hint at the next fighter to be released.
I disagree. Maybe I’m overthinking but the witch and bird stages in the stage builder section made me think of Banjo and Nintendo and specifically Sakurai are secretive and sneaky with how they tease new things whether in a direct or a straight up video like this.

I still haven't gotten aroind to playing Persona 5, but I'm waiting for the rumored Swtich version or the Royal edtion if a Swtich version dosen't pan out.
The Switch version was never rumoured. Some false insiders were making shit up all along to no surprise for internet fame. Everything official points to P5 and P5R being PS4 exclusive. P5S also sounds like some spin off that may be PS4 exclusive as well.
