Their website say it's a Aus-10V steel and 67 layers of 430 & 431 Stainless steel. So I think these would be amazing Kitchen knives. Especially for the price. Thanks for showing us these Jerad. Both the Gyo and the Pro series looks beautiful. Gonna have to pick some of these up.
I wonder when the Damascus thing is going to die down…. Looks like a very comfy knife, similar to henckels pro series with the pinch style handle. Those are my favorite, along with a couple of Japanese fish knives and Chinese chef’s (cleaver style) knife. Good review, had to check it out. Pricey stuff, though!
Probably never, but powdered steel damascus is good quality, and as long as it's that kind of damascus I don't mind it, but I'm usually not a huge fan on my folders, sometimes it's cool. On chef knives I don't mind

VG10 Damascus is a good quality Damascus. I have on several knives.67 layers on 1 side or 67 layers on each side?

No but they have a box, usually you dont want to Sheath a chef knife, you want to buy a wrap, or knife roll
