I am originally from the Caribbean Island of Grenada and married to a Filipina here in Benguet.. Have been living here in Baguio-La Trinidad, Benguet for over 8 years.. The weather here is very cool, cuz Benguet is a mountain province.. I highly recommend Michael to get his Permanent Residency by Marriage (13A visa), so he do not need to extend tourist visa every couple months.. It took me like 2 months to process everything.. Its easier for you to get Permanent Residency in the Philippines than her to get Spousal Visa for UK.. I have had friends who spent over 4 years waiting for his wife to get UK spousal visa.. You can apply for this 13A permanent residency, so you can have indefinite stay in the Philippines when you ready to settle back here when you retire.. The spousal visa I was talking about is for Linda to be with you in the UK until you retire, but the UK Spousal Visa is a very long, stressful and tedious process..
New subscriber here. Lol... that humidity is kicking you all over huh.???? I love the humidity here, reminds me of growing up in the southern part of the US... Great for melanin enriched skin.... Black heritage and the heritage of the Philippines are similar period. For the Filipinos that come from mountain communities, they understand their history and heritage far more than those from the more modernized or western geared areas. Which is why you will find more traditional women from the mountains or more rural provinces that have lacked a massive amount of immigrants or western influence. Definitely make sure you get her to your country and dual citizenship if possible so that she has more opportunities opened up for her personally, which will only benefit you as a couple. Looking forward to watching you all grow together in your peace....
