Hey Jason, if you are a reader, Jared Diamond has a series of books on anthropology and human civilization/population. He has complete chapters on the population and collapse of Greenland in his text: Collapse. There is a long history of the how and why of Greenland, and who got there first and just how long they survived there before the colony collapsed and why. Most of his anthropological study has since been blown out of the water and off the pages since their writings, seeing we know so much more about the human appearance and migration patterns in human history as of today. I've read all of his work, and they make really good reading, so much so, that you may find yourself re-reading certain books several times, like I did.
