Got to try the v13 yesterday. While I prefer the size of smaller 18-20" wheels, the quality is unmatched. Attention to detail, smart bms, this thing is better quality than the sherman-s
I just wish this wanka had a bigger battery. That's a hungry ass 4500w motor. As a generally bigger guy who also likes range (and is a bit of a speed demon) - but what experienced euc rider isnt? Only been riding for 1.5 months too
FutureMotion, take notes y'all. This is how you respond to your community voicing their concerns! Great video, you made it feel as close to having actually bought the V13 as possible without actually buying it.
I LOVE that the InMotion lady still says "Please ACTIVE your vehicle" after all these models and years! And the thing I heard 1,000 times while learning to ride: "Be Careful !"
Nice review. Like I said on the Kuji Rolls review of this wheel, this is the top of class wheel. It is likely the single best wheel ever made. If I had the money to burn I'd get one just to see if I could be tempted to do some touring on it. And that is how I see this wheel, for people with longer commutes and those who are really into touring. I know people can use it in other ways as well but I don't think that is going to be the ideal use case.
I agree! The safety margins are great on this wheel. The battery is smaller than some at only 28Ah and 3024 Wh but it's still big compared to others in the past. We are excited to check out all the new wheels because they all have their pros and cons.
Thanks Jimmy and Andrew! I really like how Inmotion keeps trying to improve their product and has a great focus on safety. If I didn't already have my Master I would consider the V13 as I don't really need the 4800wh of the Master Pro. The Master Pro is an awesome street cruiser. It is great to see the Sherman S and Inmotion V13. We are spoiled to have such great options available to us. I will definitely try out the V13 once Alienrides has it available. I am also curious about the EX30 as something with more range than a Master but not quite as big as a Master Pro. EX30 might be my sweet spot but who knows.
You two made one of the best inmotion V13 unboxing videos I’ve seen. I have seriously considered the purchase of the V13 as my next euc. I’ve watch other reviews such as Kuji Rolls which seem pretty positive, but I believe your video has taken me over the top as the V13 being my next euc. I look forward to your next more in-depth video about the inmotion V13. Thanks
WoW! I’m 79 years old and I have a couple inexpensive scooters, a Splach Twin and a Transformer. I haven’t ridden the Transformer yet, it was delivered the day after surgery (reverse total replacement,rt. shoulder) and it’s winter here in Idaho. I probably/definitely should have done some research before purchase. I was on the treadmill @ the gym and I saw the Transformer on Indiegogo and thought it looked like a good idea. Delivery was taking too long so I let them send me the Twin for ‘right now! Love your videos, keep up the good work.
I just watched Zach from RevZilla review the BMW CE 04 Electric Maxi Scooter, and its amazing how the Inmotion V13 has about twice the range. If your commute is built for it, its a solid option.
thanks for the great video! Please do an in-depth review on the suspension. Everyone knows that this wheel has the best safety and power of any EUC on the market.... the big question is how does the suspension compare to the Sherman S and S22 (with CNC roller sliders)? The V11 suspension is severely lacking compared to the latest wheels on the market and the V13 uses a similar design.... so how much did they improve the suspension compared to the V11?
Looks really good! I wish it had a longer range though. If they've fixed the durability issues with the V11-style suspension this might just win out over the Sherman-s in my books
Unfortunately the suspension is the same exact design as the v11 except they added a damper per side. But the system still used a slider on rail design which gets sticky and stiff like on the v11

Hi Jimmy, V12HT solved the problems of the first V12 series model, but V13 is a plethora of other improvements. About the resistance to turn effect, Kuji mentioned as well. It has been related to bigger wheels but I wonder if using a Shinko SD244 tire with a more round profile on V13 may improve that as well. There are a lot of settings options. I hope you can comment on how they provide different outcomes for different styles and road types. Also if you could provide any feedback on how different or for what type of use would you recommend the non-suspension setting that lowers the entire vehicle. A lot to learn about this mega wheel. Thanks so much for always highlighting safety. I totally agree with you it should be the first criteria. As always, you provide sound information.
I just upgraded from a Nikola AR+ (67 lbs) to a Master (80 lbs). I can't believe how much more nimble the AR+ feels in comparison. I may still just have to get used to the Master but right now I'm favoring my ol' reliable Nikola 🙂 These bigger, badder wheels are starting to lose their appeal to me. @@GitDatPC my v8f has some limitations. But its light, its agile, the tire isnt wide but i put in a knobby. The grip is awesome. New wheels are nice. The t4 seems like a powerhouse. But heavy and expensive
Hola, nicely done video! Jimmy is becoming the CEO King, first Future Motion now Inmotion, lol. Interested to see the range test on it. Also it would be cool to show loading it into the back of the truck, with a ramp I'm assuming.
@@Andrew-vt4jt also, you can initiate the spin kill, but you don't really need to hold it when you're lifting it. also it as free spin detection so if you lift straight up, it'll also detect and disengage. I agree with your assessment in comparison with the Master Pro. The MasPro feels more top heavy than the V13, and that's how I feel as well about it.
I am about to order Master Pro, but I am too worried about stability at 40-50 mph speeds (coming from a Monster Pro where it is stable asf). I would love to get a V13 if they come up with some battery mod that allows adding additional batteries.
Best feature: pedal hangers that are compatible with prior aftermarket footplate designs. No one wants a proprietary attachment point that restricts cross-platform accessories; locking customers into brand-loyal upgrades is a self-sabotaging marketing tactic, which needs to be discouraged… and this includes proprietary shock designs too.
It's a solid wheel. Bigger battery capacity, and easier tire changes would've made this a GREAT wheel. It's an all day nightmare as is... Perhaps the next version will correct this (V13F?)
It was odd that they stated before the wheel came out that tire changes would be easy and modular. I'm wondering if there's an easier way to do one than what Law experienced. Overall, a 3024 watt hour battery is big but not compared to the other new wheels.
Hmm, Jimmy went to a ballet recital while Andrew rode the v13. I’m sure the ballet was cute, but I’d say Andrew won. Given the speed safety margin built in and dual hall sensors, you should never get a over speed cutout. Time will show if this is true. Needs a seat tho. IM should include a nice comfy seat especially at that price. Good short review.
Seems like the kill switch should be a toggle. You’re not picking it up unless you really want to, and I’m sure you’re careful about setting it down as well. God help you if you trip taking it up the curb, lose track of the button and then have it free spinning by your knees.
My suspicion is that the kill switch is just for laying the V13 down or putting it in kickstand mode so that when picked up it’s ready to balance and go. Whereas the power cutoff should be used for lifting up the unit. Does the v13 reactivate automatically once rotated up into position?
Wooooah I shudder for the less height gifted &or leg challenged (that'd be me 😅) amongst us. I can already imagine scenarios where squashed ̶n̶u̶t̶t̶s̶ peanuts may be de snack a la mode. looks siiiick!!! cant wait for the in depth review... real world range and top speeds... plus how does that v11 suspension stack up on this bigger wheel...
Thank you for your highly educational video for those who are not familiar with e-unicycles. I wonder what happens and how does the rider handle a sudden need to stop in a very short distance and time? 🤔
Wonder if you can put a seat pad around the handle, seat pad would have to touch frame when down to support weight, but would also keep people from trying to pick it up that way.
O like inmotion wheels. Thanks to your videos I bought my first wheel the v11 from inmotion. Took me 3 attempts at mounting it and nailed it. That was 3 days ago and now Ive put 500 miles down in 3 days of riding. Today Im sore and relaxing but im ready for some jumps and more extreme riding. The v11 is not the most stable wheel but it works. Im thinking of buying the patton or the begode extrme
The safety aspects of this wheel are great, but it's far to big and bulky for me. I think my perfect wheel would be a V12 with the safety features of the V13 - plus a non-smoked shell so you get the full effect from the RGB lights!
Nice review but these look hard to balance on. Im looking for a good electric scooter for under 1k and while I have tried those bird scooters, this is my first time buying one. What would you recommend?
Love the idea of these, but too expensive for what it does. Getting it set up, putting on the gear, considering its weight when not being ridden. I'd take comfort to speed any day. I do like to watch you guys zip about though.
My Sherman max and v8s shipped fully charged too. The manual for my v8s said to charge it all the way when storing for a long time. Had a li-ion battery bank that said the same thing. I wonder if the bms has some way of protecting the storage at full thing? Or maybe they're just like "better full than empty" 🤷♀️
Brilliant review as always guys, straight to the point and cover the important stuff... What pedals height/position did you have the pedals on? Is the pedals hanger a 3 step up like the V12?
We left it stock at first. We didn't really get into adjusting the pedal height since Jimmy had to go to the ballet recital. We'll mess around with it some more in the next few weeks and let you know in the review.
love the anodised orange of the handles/rest .. but i could see them getting very easily scratched up and left with sharp edges that would need filing/sanding fairly reg with heavy daily usage. Do they do rubber surrounds for the handles to protect them?
I was thinking the same. I would definitely cover those somehow, even if it was just the face side that could contact the ground. Maybe grip tape or silicone wrap or even adhesive rubber. Oh, maybe a plasti-dip.
They really should do more wheels that is more '' middle ground '' focused . Wheels that are simply 18 or 20 inch that are around 80 lbs cause these simply feel way too heavy imo . the only wheel I have is the v12 ht and I love how nimble it is , my next wheel id like something more stable at high speed but still has some of that nimbleness that I love about it , also suspension . If the v14 is something along what I just described , that would be such a killer wheel
Awsome video, hope everyone had a great Christmas and all the best for the new year. Just a question of what the helmet is you guys are using? As always keep up the great work guy's.
Amazing video! I’m actually a little nervous because I just ordered a v13, even though I’ve never ridden an euc. I own a Onewheel pint and it’s usually my everyday commute, so, any tips for a new user with way too much headroom to ride? Thanks!
It's not going to be the easiest wheel to learn on. It may be better to remove the suspension when trying to learn. Do you have any friends nearby that ride EUCs and can teach you on a smaller wheel? Overall, you won't be upset getting this wheel after you learn how to ride an EUC.
@@Andrew-vt4jt well, now I’ll have to look for someone to teach me 😅 I live in a small city called Querétaro in Mexico, so this euc’s are alien type tech. Thanks for the response!
im assuming they probobly sell something similiar to a PMT Tire for these as well? I know the more rounded street-tire makes a drastic difference on scooters, ide imagine the same on an EUC?
The main thing it shows is how much extra power the wheel has. Higher free spin should equate to less likelihood of cutting out at higher speeds. I like that the free spin goes to 136km in our test and they only let you max out at 90km with a load.
I currently ordered a V12 because I wanted a lighter wheel to learn on with moveable stands not so high off the ground, I was going to buy the V13 but soon as I seen the weight of this monster I knew I wasnt ready for it, if they could make a lighter version of this wheel (a V12+ basically) with all the V13 saftey improvements I would DEFINATLEY buy that, but as a new rider this wheel is too much. The V12 is perfect for me but I wish I had the extra mosfets and hall sensors and battery protection to really make sure im secure. I will never want to go 55mph on a wheel for years to come at least, 30 is enough for me the suspension would be a bonus but all that stuff adds weight so I could live without it
it was advertised online to include everything, and when I bought it it turn out it doesn't have the suspension lock. I contacted them and they said it does not come with the V13 and is a separate purchase. The wheel cost a lot of money why did they have to remove that part to piss people off?
Nice review! It's disappointing Inmotion Skipped right over a medium sized 100V wheel with suspension. Just a v12S high torque would have been perfect. This thing is nice looking but way too close to my own weight. I like the safety of Inmotion. Next time you talk to them, ask them to remember the smaller riders. And maybe mention a V12 high torque with suspension.
Awesome Guys. Great review as always 👌. The Price and lack of travel range. Yeah nah. Still thinking about it. Besides the other new Suspension wheels.
Hi, why do you say the v12 was a fiasco? I checked out your review of the v12 with people doing technical jumps, etc. and the wheel seemed ok? Im curious if something happened after?
Picky picky, I think it looks pretty well thought out maybe a smaller Wheel would suit you better😅 or is this one of those instances where “Be careful what you wish for” Hmmm?
Man what an exciting time to be an EUC rider!
Very exciting!

So many choices... maybe I'll just use good old duct tape!
I would love to the V12HT with a Raptor controller.
Awsome video, hope everyone had a great Christmas and all the best for the new year.
Just a question of what the helmet is you guys are using? As always keep up the great work guy's.
If Inmotion is seeing this... Hire this guy.
Wow I never knew these existed, I own a couple ebikes, pretty cool.
They are pretty sweet! We enjoy ebikes but we love electric unicycles.
Oh boy. As someone who’s 5’3” it looks like I’ll have to pass on this one 😢😢😢 so sad, I was really looking forward to it.
When you're on the wheel, you should be fine for clearance. But it may be difficult mounting it.
not a sport, a hobby at best. I pre ordered the wheel too, hopefully breaking won't be too hard to do because of weight.
im assuming they probobly sell something similiar to a PMT Tire for these as well? I know the more rounded street-tire makes a drastic difference on scooters, ide imagine the same on an EUC?
A Michelin street tire on the V13 would be awesome. I would love to see the Raptor controller offered on scooters.
I'm wondering since a moment, why everyone keeps being obsessed with free spin speed ?
How this affects real world performance ?
The main thing it shows is how much extra power the wheel has. Higher free spin should equate to less likelihood of cutting out at higher speeds. I like that the free spin goes to 136km in our test and they only let you max out at 90km with a load.
@@Andrew-vt4jtThank you for the answer, as i couldn't find one on Google
Awesome 😎 thanks brother 🙏
Good wheel just wish it had a open design
60-80% is where u want u batery for storage they did fine!
I will never want to go 55mph on a wheel for years to come at least, 30 is enough for me the suspension would be a bonus but all that stuff adds weight so I could live without it
A 16 inch suspension wheel with Raptor controller would be epic.
Love it Nice
Thanks!
it was advertised online to include everything, and when I bought it it turn out it doesn't have the suspension lock.
Fair enough!
Hello sir, Have you tried the real world range of this euc?
We will be doing a range test soon.
@@Andrew-vt4jt okay sir thanks, safe ride..
Great video! Thanks!

I’ve been commuting with my V11 for 7 months, and I want it to be faster. So, I have my eye on upgrading to the V13.
Thanks for watching!
Wheel is too big for me. 20” 2400Wh version is a definite buy if it becomes wheel. Would get the Sherman-S but i think it is too heavy
I've heard this is ellegal to buy now in USA 🇺🇸
Still legal.
Hi, why do you say the v12 was a fiasco? I checked out your review of the v12 with people doing technical jumps, etc. and the wheel seemed ok? Im curious if something happened after?
Is it some effect of the camera?
Add a foldable handle bar to that and you'll be in business
Need a 18 or 20 inch v13
That would be sweet to have! I would love to have a 18 or 20 inch V13.
Those things should come with a complementary injury accident insurance both for the rider and anyone else.
I'm sure they will need to be insured in the future. It's only a matter of time with how fast they are getting.
Picky picky, I think it looks pretty well thought out maybe a smaller Wheel would suit you better😅 or is this one of those instances where “Be careful what you wish for” Hmmm?
