its advisable than covering the rice with rubber as we usually do or with a napkin. It traps the vapor inside the cooking pot which makes the rice cook faster

Yes oo, but as a good cook, i dont think you require a chopping board for cutting just an onion, time is also a factor here. But they say as a professional you have to so i guess i will work on that
@@kaysrecipesgh Please never feel pressured to change indigenous methods that work for you as long as it does not impact your health badly because that is why many of us watch you, your authenticity and your portrayal of the cultural food you masterfully share. I am not saying you shouldn't change anything, Change if it adds value and convenience to what you are doing.
For example, I love the fact that you used banana leave to cover your rice instead of plastic, as we all no the health hazards of using plastic whilst cooking. If this is a change you made from using plastics then that's good. Those who would like to see veggies cut on a chopping board can go and watch Jamie Oliver.
And how will the chopping board improve what he is doing? There are many ways of doing things.
