I thought about it but it would take too much time to type this up so you can understand it clearly. I am rewriting the manual so I really don’t have the time for it
OK --SO TELL ME how exactly does a 'piece of tin act as a reservoir ? Do u shove it up the hollow feather quill --near the nib ? What is the shape /size /gauge of that piece of tin ? How does it hold ink as a reservoir ? Can you simplify ? ---Intresting --thankyou !
Great video and fascinating to watch the nib take shape! 😊👍🏻
I didnt know that quils can be used this way and there are variations thanks for showing
Lovely job, very clear and now just to practice :-) thank you
That was very interesting, thanks.
I love his accent
Would be great to actually see this quill in action.
+Mark EM Next time I cut one I will see if we have the time to film it
Do u insert a bit of foam inside the quill to suck up the ink ---does it flow by capillary action ?
You don’t have to. Today we use a piece of tin to act as a reservoir
Please try to explain the piece of tin ---as a reservoir ? That has me really confused!

To simple
What do you mean?
It is all about simplifying it so people can start. If it is too complicated it will scare people off.
