The amount of pure comedy gold put into a film about Food Weather is actually admirable. Also is nobody gonna talk about the fact that Flint's dad is just 🗿

The conflict and ultimate resolution between Flint and his father is handled really well, and overall, this movie just has a great message about embracing who you are and supporting your loved ones.

Like that restaurant scene where Flint and his dad are having a genuinely heavy emotional moment while hilarious slap-stick humor is happening around them. The fact that they're able to balance it all out so perfectly is incredible.
