I knew about a year after I had my daughter that my cycles were starting to get shorter and then the year after that or maybe it was two years after that, I was having positive ovulation tests all the time and that’s when I knew the hormones were shifting and Everything was starting to become very irregular. I was ovulating but sometimes I would ovulate really early before day 11 and other times it took until maybe cycle day 18 which is far from my normal. I know that’s still a normal range for other women, but for me, it was completely off. It’s about a 10 year process although some get through it a lot quicker but for me it’s been a long process basically starting at about 43 years old for me. 😊

I have been seeing a fertility doctor for over two years now I’ve had nine miscarriages and I went for my follicle scan yesterday after doing another round of Clomid and she said you’re probably going through menopause …without explaining why she would say that or what makes her think that I missed my period one month and based on that I don’t know if that’s why she thinks that but she didn’t even explain how the process works, so I was just really upset thinking that means that I’ll never be able to have another baby I’m 39
Baby dust Andrea. My fertility doctor and I are taking a different approach and increasing meds and will be using progesterone for the first time. Do you have any suggestions on progesterone?
Oh really wow! What all medication’s will you be taking? Do you know what your natural progesterone was during your luteal phase by 7 dpo? That’s about when they want to have it tested when they call it the 21 day progesterone test but of course not everyone ovulates on the same day! Wow, I’m excited to hear how things go. I think I mentioned before that the suppositories are OK but I need more than even three a day. so I’d be interested to see how you go about doing this. Please let me know. I have the progesterone in oil ready so I can use it next time right away. I had it last cycle but didn’t get a chance to pull it out before my lines started to disappear. I’m excited to hear how this next cycle goes for you!🙏🤞♥️
@andreapoole4778 it looks like FSH 75 IU , ovidrel and progesterone. I'm not sure about the levels because it wasn't checked, so after 3 failed IUI's, we're taking this approach. I will keep you updated.
