I've only recently discovered your channel doing a random search on the x-pro and x-e series and I can't tell you enough how glad I am I found your content. Thank you for your fabulous videos, I've already watched a handful and I'm blown away by your work on all levels, from your photography to your editing to your video work to the mood you create. Very unique, very talented. Thank you.
I love this sm, consistently you're the only channel that makes me want to get up and go shoot on a regular basis, love everything you create, much support from salem oregon!
Same, the recent videos about it really started an itch. But I think I might go for the X100F instead if I end up getting one as it has most of the features at basically half the price.
I came to this video to check it out for a few minutes at most, but your style is so calm and inviting, I just had to watch the whole thing! You've got a new subscriber from me.
Hey I’m just changing from a Nikon d5600 and all your videos made me fall in love with Fujifilm, i was looking into de xt30ii and this xe4, your content makes me fall in love with photography again, thank you
As always the quality is here, even in a more '' simple '' video like this, and that's so pleasant to watch ! very useful video too =) it's every time a pleasure to see your creations!
Excellent video! Had a struggle finding the best way to carry gear without being overpacked or under packed. I found the sweet spot is a DSLR a micro 4/3 and a point and shoot camera. Awesome production on your channel!
Loved this! Really cool to see what photo gear you have and that you edit on an iPad. Would love to see the video version of this! And even some more bts type videos would be awesome!
I know you're a hybrid shooter, but I'm surprised you don't adapt vintage lenses to your camera (at least not mentioned in this video), esp. hexanon / hexar lenses. I think it would strengthen your already great looks that you get. The hexanon 57mm 1.4 is incredible and can be had for like $60 or cheaper if you find it attached to an old body usually. Every single hexanon lens I've shot is great. Kyle Mcdougall, another fuji youtuber got me hooked on contax zeiss lenses, and I have a contax yashica zeiss 35-70 f3.4 and it is probably my desert island lens. Like having 5 primes in one. It is so damn sharp and the colors... ahh man.
Lovely vid. Note that the Instax printer is a smartphone printer, not a printer for "if you shoot Fujifilm". You can't even connect an x100v to it. However, you can use it with any phone.
It works with the X-S10 from firmware v2.10 as per the release notes: “instax mini Link” and “instax Link WIDE” will be added as applicable printers for X-S10 • The camera now supports smartphone printers, “instax mini Link” and “instax Link WIDE” series. • Due to the above modification, items of the “instax PRINTER PRINT” will be changed in the playback] menu. • In addition, the menu title, “instax PRINTER CONNECTION SETTING” will be renamed as “instax PRINTER SETTINGS” as well as its content has been changed, which appears through [SETUP MENU] ➔ [CONNECTION SETTING]. I am hoping that other current camera models will also get the update. I quite fancy the printer for direct print from my X-E4.
I sold my X100F to go XE3 and XE4. I just needed more flexibility. I still recommend the X100 series to people, but even though the X100 series is bonkers good, there's only so far one can go with a fixed lens system. You're using two great X mount cameras!
I went from X100T to X-E3 and X-E4. Similar journey for likely similar reason. I just could not get along with the 23mm on the X100T, I tried the converters and disliked them. The X-E4 fixed a few firmware frustrations I had with the X-E3. Of course now having a flip screen has got me shots not possible on the X-E3 too.
Hey Serr ! I love your work so much. I am a wedding photographer but search inspiration in street photography :) I am thinking on switching from Canon to Fuji to photograph (and film) weddings. Do you think the Fuji would be a good solution? (autofocus and lowlight handling) Would love to hear your opinion!
Nice stuff man - I've got a iPad photography workflow video that might revolutionize your workflow with the iPad - automatically syncs/backups easy peasy
Great video, I own the bevite bag and the instax wide as well. As far as edc camera I’ve been back and forth between the x100v xe4 and xs10. Ultimately decided on the xs10 as it’s the most versatile but admittedly not the most inspiring to shoot with like the xe4 or x100
Exact ! The Glimmer glass is excellent, much better than the ultra trendy Pro Mist. - Do you also use the Glimmer with your X100V? If yes with a simple adapter ring? - Thank you
Left the video as soon as you assailed my ears with that highly annoying noise. So presumptuous that you might think I might actually want to hear that stuff.
Having gone through a long list of cameras ranging from basic point and shoot cameras (Canon, Fujifilm, Sony & Leica) through APS-C to full framed DSLR (Nikon) and a Leica M9, I've finally settled upon my X100v (black) and the new GRIIIx. Simple and easy to use but with good quality images, it's a no-fuss street setup... No worrying about what lens I want to take (other than the choice of whether to shoot in 35 or 40mm) or being laid down by heavy bags full of gear (been there)...
Another beautifully edited video! I have a question, @serr, which is, what of your Lightroom or C1 presets did you use for some of those portraits? They have a beautiful green you only really see in Portra or maybe Superia 400 (sometimes). I’ve been eyeing your presets (particularly for C1), so this might make me buy!
I've owned the 7artisans 35mm f1.2 for more than a year now and i absolutely love it, it's an insane value lens for the price and it's incredibly small. Favorite lens for usre

I've had the X-E4 for a little less than a year and I absolutely love the camera and you were a big inspiration in buying it but the paint is chipping on the bottom. I treat the camera like a baby and its in my camera bag with padding around it. I was wondering if anyone else was also having this issue as well
the paint on my silver x-e4 is scratched a little at the top edges and around the strap lugs. at first i was super worried about it, but now i don't mind. it just shows that i use my camera!
