- How do you balance your hormones when trying to get pregnant? What is normal and how to do it?
😣 We all know hormonal imbalances = problems with your fertility.
And if you’ve been trying to get pregnant for a while now without success…then it’s probably time to take a good, long hard look at your hormones.
You’ve probably heard of “hormonal imbalances” but how do you know when that’s an issue for you? And if so, what are you supposed to do about it?
Unchecked hormonal issues are going to impact your ability to get and stay pregnant.
HOWEVER, your hormones often won’t be taken into consideration unless your lab results come back very abnormal.
But I don’t believe in waiting until there’s a bigger problem before you understand your hormonal health and give your body the support it needs.

Thank you Dr. Sklar for giving me a bright ray of hope in what has been an increasingly dark and scary journey. What you offer is exactly what has always been missing in my fertility experience. I am so excited for my first consultation next week! ❤️ from Germany 🤗
Thanks for the video
good video. Im getting my amh and fsh tested next month. Just wondering if I should include getting all my hormones tested?
Good morning Dr. SKLAR! I just want to thank you for your videos and uplifting outlook! AND that you have an option for us to order labs through labcorp. I just received my results. I have been taking DHEA for over a year at the 75 mg dose and lower does prior to that timeframe. My DHEA-S was 790! My testosterone levels were both slightly elevated also. Thank goodness my LH, FSH, estradiol and progesterone were all in the normal range. My AMH was 0.546 which is about the median for my age (45). I am assuming it is actually higher because of the DHEA level and 2 years ago my AMH was 1.46. If I didn't have the option to check labs through your website, I would have likely continued the DHEA. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
Good afternoon sir
I just found out I'm pregnant after a year and a half of trying!!!
Congratulations
Hi there! Where is the link to the kits to track our hormones? Didnt see in the description
This is good
Hi, Dr. Sklar; thanks as always for your informative videos. You mentioned that serum E2 levels should be between 30-80 during the follicular phase. I use Mira to track my LH, E2, and progesterone metabolites. Can you interpolate for me and others using these at-home devices what optimal urinary hormone levels should be? Thank you.
What is the unit of measure if E2? Could you help me? Thx
You didn’t mention ideal levels of progesterone at its “peak”. 7 days after ovulation. What range is “ideal”?
Great video! Thank you so much! How I can measure those hormones if I don’t have a period?
You can test it now if that is the case.
I would like to know as well regarding fertility monitors, like Inito. How accurate are the hormones in the urine metabolites? I know it’s not similar to serum levels, but my estrogen is always higher than the reference range. Could that just be excreting the excess estrogen through urine?
Thanks for this video. I would like to know how often do you recommend testing this hormones. And you didn’t mention AMH normal range and what units/ml of all of the other hormones. Also, I am curious about testosterone, do you think it could give good information?
I have other videos that discuss all the reference ranges. AMH varies by age which is why I did not mention that. I recommend testing every 6 months.
How does bc affect amh numbers? Does it give you high amh or low amh? How long after BC can you get a more "accurate" number?
I have elevation fsh 23 with good Amh about 3.8 what the cause and ttt please
How can balance hormones at home
How to balance? Thats the title of video and you only say what is range of hormones and nothing about how to balance them??
Dear Dr. Sklar, many thanks for this useful video! It's beyond helpful.
On sd 2 my FSH is 8.88, LH - 4.74, E2 - 35.10, AMH - 0.28. I am 47, dreaming of a 2nd child. How do you find these readings and what would you generally recommend, please?
Big thanks once again! Be healthy and blessed - you, your family, your team + patients! 🍀
What is the measure of E2?
These numbers look great.
@@kimmieshimmie many thanks dear!
What induces period? My friend’s period is too late. She wants to have period then go to fertility center to start the baby process.
Ginger and parsley tea
Does AMH of 5.6 means PCOS but I have regular periods, although they are prolonged like 8-9 days because my flow starts from Day 3/4
Your first day of flow is the first day of your period, even if you’re spotting before. So your period isn’t as long as you think it is.
I asked for full hormonal panal thry gave it to me.
been trying since 2016 its now 2024 very low egg count
Sure enough, if everything goes well this should do the job. But listen, there's one factor that's usually overlooked that can considerably speed up the process, unfortunately I do not have it at hand, but it can be go’ogled Dobbie Nerkstrol's Infertility Cure, I think.
Doctors act funny when you request this test. I wish I could test these on My own. They wann have a referral from your specialist when to just see your specialist is $400..
So.. how do you balance your hormones when trying to get pregnant? No information about it in this video! Just another clickbait 😮💨
