CAN'T believe Seregios showed up and gave you a FREE Seregios Lens LMAO, the speed of that head break. I also agree with loving the changes to gore in sunbreak. Gore and especially Shagaru got much improved in Sunbreak and it makes fighting them so fun. Shagaru is so much more engaging and dynamic with it going in and out of it's powered up phase instead of being static for the entire fight, and I love fighting it out in an actual locale as it makes the fight way more dynamic as well. Not to mention that laser sweep. If only fighting Shagaru wasn't so uncommon, I have yet to get him in an investigation and he only lives in the citadel. Doesn't help they hardly give him any quests.
That ending was absolute hilarious. Seregios appears out of nowhere while the post hunt timer is still there. You manage to break the head before quest ends. You get a Lens for that. lmao
Dude you did this so skillfully. You must've fought them countless times. Edit: You bullying the sergio at the end, was fun to watch lol. "Oh look, more fun!"
Sunbreak Gore is a good iteration of the monster and I'm so so happy to see him back, but you know what makes me sad about it? They got rid of his front legs being a relatively weak spot-- something I was okay with personally because his head was still weaker, and back in 4U it was kind of a good way to teach you about tripping monsters on purpose since you were likely to do it on accident, but whatever he's a G-rank monster not a low-rank one anymore so I guess it's okay... But then, as if to make up for the loss of front-leg topples, they made knocking him out of his frenzy a topple, just like literally any other monster with a funny charged up rage state. They got rid of the cool animation where he falls over himself backwards but still lands on all fours, looking at you and practically hissing like some kind of cheesy vampire. That tiny animation was one of my favorite bits of personality this guy had, 'cause it was like, you beat him out of his super-powered state, and it still feels like you're at parity with him-- just him not being in frenzy anymore is itself your reward. It made it feel like a struggle, not like you're winning decisively just yet, but like you just got one over on a dangerous rival. In this game I almost don't want to hit him in the head just because I don't want to make a chump out of him. But that's just a 4U baby having very particular feelings about his flagship. Not a very big deal really. Good run by the way!
@@dynamo_lynn Yeah, I was kinda responding to the description. My point's just, they got rid of the frontleg trip thing to make him harder, which is okay, but then replaced it with a different trip which still takes some bite out of him and makes less flavorful, which is what disappoints me.
I'm pretty new to MH, started in World and Skipped Iceborne. Gore Magala is probably my favorite monster in Rise/Sunbreak. It's the only one that actually looks scary, almost a monster straight out of Stranger Things. The fluidity of its arms and wings is also on another level. I can't wait for the next MH game when hopefully they make all wings and movements like that. We're certainly already there in terms of graphical capability in consoles/PC.
I really want layered weapons. so that way I can use this Hammer without thinking to myself. of how ugly and stupid looking of a hammer it is. That's the only reason i don't use it. Id rather use the egg.

that Seregios just wanted some attention, and you were handsomely rewarded for providing it.
I love how you edit MH4U music in, really feels nice listening to nostalgia while watching banger speedruns. Take my sub.💪🏾
I edit any music from the series as long as it fits the monster thematically or depending on its origin game ;)

I can't tell if its a mod you're using or just the old music for the videos but I love it. MH4U gore music was the best

I precisely say in the description that this is the best thing they changed about Gore, the fact that he isn't a triplock puppet anymore lol

@@C_Kiri That's a pretty good point you make and I actually didn't see it that way, but it is true
Imagine speedrunning gore, then breaking seregios' head in the free time before returning to base and getting a lens from it
Thanks for fighting one of my favs with hammer
Gore & Shaggy give off such epic "final boss" vibes.

I am always waiting for your new video because i don't have a pc / ps to play MH series 😥
Wish this fight didn't have so many frame drops on switch. Great run
Bonked Seregios so hard he turned into a little owl.
i noticed you used big bang only on one stun opening, was it because gore's stun animation is shorter or something?
Exactly
i like so much when hammer direct to head.. it look so much headshot 100%
Poor Steve
Is this the best raw hammer?
Yes
