- Today I have an early look at the upcoming Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance 1906R collaboration which is set to release some time soon. This takes the popular 1906R model and adds unique ALD touches, including green and gold coloured accents, and ALD branding throughout. What are your thoughts on this pair - is this a cop or a drop when they release?

Seeing this aged looking mesh and laces... these look fantastic here. I wouldn't mind seeing the other pairs close up. I was hating on these but they are a go if you're into em. Easy 9/10 on these. 🔥

Idk if these & the green ALD 860v2’s can coexist in a collection together. Wonder why they released them so close together it’s almost the same shoe

Should I go true to size or half size up ? Feet is wide
I like these on screen but without seeing in hand might prefer the ALD 860v2. Since I got a W on the latter, I’m not sure whether I’ll go for these at all but I have a hard time resisting ALDs, especially in green.
I don't know. The cream with this green makes it look...sickly. I'd like it with a true white instead.
Struck out on the release sadly, but ended up paying resell. I have watched this multiple times bc i’m so hyped to get mine😂 but anyways great review Sean!

I’m a US8 but wear 7.5 for the regular model. not sure why. Because i wear 8.5 for 2002r. (I’m a flat feet )
These look like the shoes that a sensei from Cobra Kai would wear truly fearsome when someone wears these you know they mean business.

I got the 860 v2 in today. I'm feeling them. I like them better than these since i don't own any 860s yet besides these. And they look great. Especially with the gold front. Gives it a nice pop

@@estebeng issue is I’m a UK12 but NB only offer 11.5 or 12.5 so I’m unsure what size to go for
@Clouey personally I would have size up before I went down. But my feet are wide. The toebox is a bit narrow.
Hit on 860v2. I’m gonna pass on these. Idk, I just don’t feel those matcha/avocado/guacamole shade of green on these pair. I personally prefer more solid ALD green color on 860v2.

This is a sensational colourway wasted on a model that IMHO, can't support a collaboration. The 1906r is just way too sporty, with too much mesh on the upper. They did a good job with the refined future pack, replacing the cheap materials with suede, as it gives it a premium touch. This just looks like a GR that you can find on the discount rack.
If only NB will let collaborators work on the 990V5 and V6. They are in desperate need for more collabs.
These have too much going on for me idk... The rose gold kind of takes me out.

@@vor946 well good it aint your channel and everything aint gotta be about you. Sorry man but its a huge world out here. Alot of people rock theirs that way and it looks good. Ion mean straight up unlaced to the point where the laces are looking like a bird nest, just a little loose with the tips neatly coming out.

It's funny to me that these types of shoes are super popular or fashionable now, 15 years ago we got these for free in basic training and were afraid to wear out in public because of fear of ridicule how dorky they looked! 😂
