Great content, love the channel! I would love to see you do a video comparing all 6 versions of the new balance 990. I know you did a 990 vid, but would be cool to see the difference in each version. Also would be interested to see you cover hiking boots and footwear. Both the fashion focused models like Salomon XT-6 and ROA Andreas / Katharina, and also Performance focused from Merrell and Keen for example. Hope this finds you well
Knew it was better leather, but surprised it wasn't by much. I think it's cause the construction of the sneaker is just so top-tier, it was hard to believe otherwise. Great review though. Hope one day NB decides to make a Made in US version of the 550 so we could compare GR, collabs and MADE versions of the sneaker.
I was hoping you would do this with the forum 84s too, the ones with the brown edges like the wild teals or the brown color ways. The red was using recycled materials.. Cheers!
Really hope you'll do a comparison between the "Made in USA" & "Made in UK" to see if the higher price point for being made in the west is worth the extra costs !
There was a real popular sneaker in the 90’s called Assassins, they had a lot of great features, looked real sharp, and we’re popular with the dad crowd. They retailed for $150 back in ‘92, maybe you could get a pair of those and cut them in half next.
The history of Onitsuka Tiger is very interesting. I would suggest doing a video comparing their Nippon Made series and their regular series. They boast that the Nippon line is superior in construction and materials used. Only Rose Anvil could tell us if Nippon Made is worth it!
This is random but I’ve been mountain biking for a few years, and I’ve used Ride Concepts Livewire shoes with my flat pedals. They have held up well, and I think that it would be really cool to see Weston make a video on some kind of shoe like that.

Hey @RoseAnvil i know that you have A LOT of requests on what shoes/boots you should review next but i really recommend to review some portuguese shoe brands. Portugal shoe quality is on the same level of italian and spanish dress shoes, we use very high quality leather and our shoes are all handmade and well crafted. As a portuguese it really frustrates me how underrated our shoes are compared to our european neighbours, when we have really high quality with mostly fair prices.
Hey. Rose! Could you please review a boot from the German brand that's called Meindl? The model I'd suggest is called "Perfect". Thank you for your videos!
Hey. I don’t know if you take suggestions, but there’s a shoe I would love to see the inside of. They’re called GDEFY. I’ve had a pair for some time. They’re super comfortable. Their selling point is springs inside the heel. Could be an interesting inside look!
@Rose Anvil When can we expect your reviews of the Viberg service boots, derbys, sneakers, chelsea's & compare them individually to the other top of the line competing boots! Love the quality of your shows
I would love for you to do a review on Anta Salehe Bembury x SB-02 I want to see your review on that nest technology that Anta is using with this model. This is one of my favorite channels! Keep up the great work!!! 👍Review the Anta’s!!!🙏
I don't do white sneakers, but if I did I would absolutely go for the colour combination shown on the pair of 650s. That off-white/green combination just does things for me...
S tier leather would only be used on italian dress shoes type stuff or super premium boots. S tier leather on a daily use sneaker doesn't make much sense unless youre willing to spend more than 500€ on retail for that.
It would be interesting to see what you think about the Diadora mi basket heritage/used version. Cause the leather they use on these looks quite good tbh
You should really try guidi boots. they have a very unique silhouette, immaculate leather quality, and are a family business that specializes in leather tanning and specialty leathers.
Hey dude I started religiously watching you cut shoes in half and I decided to take a shot in the dark and buy some whites chore boots. Dope vid. I have the green and brown ALD 550s, and the green, red, and green/cream 650s and all are soooo good. I tried buying a GR 550 and they were SO bad and actually so narrow I couldn't wear them and returned em. The ALD is wider and way more comfortable. And the leather is way better... Especially the first pack.

For the ALDs, the slight difference in looks & material for the price diff is more on the NOT worth it side, imho. Especially the price drop from $130. to $49. for the regulars.
The main thing that simply feels better about ALD pairs is that the leather is softer. GR pairs are just super stiff and have a longer break in period. I have a lot of 550s
What's the sizing like? Alot of vids say half size down on 550s because they fit long and narrow. But they also say the GR pairs fit tighter because of the leather.
@@apikachhu8138 I got half down on all ALD pairs, I do the same on GRs but I could see why you'd want to go TTS cause the leather is noticeably stiffer and harder to break in

New Balance is definitely my favorite gym shoes, purely based on looks. I was making 2400 a week, working 7-12s in Detroit, living in a hotel and paid like 200 for 7 pairs of shoes once I think 5 at least we're NBs. I went through a huge shoe buying spree but never spent over $50 a pair of shoes
I don’t know, the coating on these shoes seem completely different to me. The regular version bubble up and melted while the lad doesn’t, it just burn and turn to brown dust. You mentioned before that leather that burn like this have a heavy pigment of top instead of heavy plastic, which make sense since they are completely softer
I recently looked at Reebok Classics and K-Swiss Classics. I never had the Reeboks but was a big fan of the K-Swiss. I owned many pairs of them back in the late'80s and early '90s. The originals of both were nice shoes with soft leather. The modern variants are horrid. The leather was as cheap looking and feeling as could be and the shoes were so stiff I can't imagine how uncomfortable they would be.
@RoseAnvil Please look into some of the Motorcycle boots like Revit, Merlin, tcx, speed and strength...and so on. Would love to see if they're offering good value.
