Parsley Hummus recipe (see below)
Sheet Pan Quesadilla recipe loosely adapted from: www.jocooks.com/recipes/sheet...
Parsley Hummus
1 15oz (236g) can chickpeas drained, the liquid reserved
3 cloves of garlic, smashed and peeled
1 teaspoon salt
The juice of one lemon
1/4 cup (a handful) parsley leaves, roughly chopped
1 scallion, roughly chopped
1/3 cup (80mL) Tahini sauce
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
Small pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Put all of the ingredients plus half of the reserved chickpea liquid into the bowl of a food processor. Blend to a smooth puree. Thin out the hummus with additional chickpea liquid, if necessary. Enjoy!

@siboneypeltier2307 I wish,most of the flowers I grow go to florists and a one star Michelin restaurant in the middle of nowhere. This is probably the last year that I will be growing for others. I am almost 80. Time to do stuff just for me.

I love your "Wild and Free" floral arrangement." I have some of these kinds of flowers in my yard. They're beautiful to see in May.(After a long, hard winter)The pesto and hummus look delicious and healthy too, served with fresh veggies and whole grain crackers. Lovely. Like you're having a treat, without having a treat. Something new to make with ground turkey- Quesadillas. Those look awfully good as well. I will be sure to try. Two words come to my mind to describe your flower arrangement: bountiful and nostalgia. The spirea sprays were key in the magic. The quesadillas looked so wonderful, I'm sure your camera-shy guests were delighted. Keep amazing us, Kevin.
That was nice. I have the ingredients for Sheet Pan Quesadillas and I'm glad you showed us how it's done. I'm looking forward to trying it here at home. The one thing I lack is fresh ingredients from the garden...but one can do reasonably well at one's local grocers. You've reminded me of the fact I haven't used my food processor in a long time....and it's now time.

I absolutely love my oven gloves that I picked up at Amazon after seeing his. Why didn't someone think of this a long time ago? Also my knife sharpener like his (that Mr. Fox gave him) is my absolutely favorite of all time and keeps all my knives extra sharp!

My little herb garden has a lot of chives. You're right, you really can't kill them. The hardest thing I have to do is keep them from running amok. I'll definitely give this pesto a try.

Yummy, tnx for these recipes. Our weather here in Eas. WA. is very similar. I can't plant out my toms or peppers. I have both types of chives. I love them best in scrambled eggs. I found out a trick to do with used leek ends. Put in water and wallah, it's grown 3 inches in a week!!! Happy nibbles🥰👍

Delicious apps. Glad the sheet pan Quesadilla recipe turned out well. Great idea for a gathering. My daughter and son-in-law have Chives that grow as prolifically as yours so I've passed on that recipe to them if they were interested in trying it. I have chives, but it's never taken off like yours or theirs! LOVED the flower arrangement! The boxwood branches make the perfect base to build on. I love May because there are so many beautiful shrubs and flowers blooming after the long winter. Enjoy your Memorial Day long weekend.
