excellent video - while the info and strategies you share are specific to people with disabilities, these can also be relevant with dementia and alzheimer’s. I’ve had knowledge of families keeping their afflicted elderly at home, and some of the challenges are similar. Thank you for sharing your time-tested coping strategies.
Thank you for sharing this! I’ve wondered what type of harness Kyle uses. I have a seatbelt block that has been a LIFESAVER!!! I love all of your tips. Childproofing for older kids is easier said than done ❤️
I have a few disabilities my self not bad though ADHD deslixa dispixa restless leg syndrome coordination disorder also I’m intolerant to dairy I’m 16 I also have a lot of friends with special needs and autism they nearly always seem nicer than other people Also Kyle seems like a really sweet kid hope he has luck on his side 💙
Great video. We can use these strategies for our Syngap angel! She’s ten years old now and also sees no danger whatsoever. We still use a babymonitor at night for the same reason. She loves to swim to by the way 😉
I understand your concern, but if in an emergency, I'm sure it will be noticed. It needed to be on something that Kyle wouldn't remove and he would not tolerate something on his wrist.
Hi Kelli, my name is Justin and I have cerebral palsy. I share some of the symptoms and interests that Kyle has. I would love to communicate with you somehow. Let me know what the best way is.
Thank you for sharing. We can communicate through here or you can direct message me on Instagram. The link is in the About Section of my UA-cam channel. ☺️

You are such a special mom. Kyle is a lucky young man to have you both as parents. I love watching your posts.
Aww, thank you so much! ❤️

I love how our Syngapians love the water! We've talked about getting a camera installed in his room.
Very informative. It gave me ideas for my special needs boy. I love the seat belt lock and the med alert on his shoes. Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome! I'm glad it gave you some ideas!
Thanks for sharing about the ID tags for the shoes something I need for my 2 sons
You're welcome!
You all do an amazing job..
Thanks mam for your detailed video

❤️ we should have our first Q&A video out this weekend! Also, I received your question and will add it to my list for our next Q&A in March.
Awesome video
I didn’t realize Kyle was only 15 what a special young man. How much time does he spend with his grandparents so you can get a break?
Thank you for the question! I'll include it in my Q&A Video coming at the end of February!
Respect god bless you
Thank you!
Have you looked into a sleep safe bed? They are amazing for people who tend to not stay in bed at night.
Yes, I have, but they are expensive so the door lock has always worked for us. ☺️
Does Kyle have Pica? My sister has Pica and we have to be careful of what we give her to play with because it will go in her mouth.
I've heard of that, but it has never been mentioned by Kyle's doctors. We do have to be careful, although it has gotten better as he has gotten older.
I wonder why the ID tags is on the shoes it seems so tiny and far from notice can we make similar one for the wrist? Or he will pull it out ?
I understand your concern, but if in an emergency, I'm sure it will be noticed. It needed to be on something that Kyle wouldn't remove and he would not tolerate something on his wrist.

Kyle's favorite ride is The Viking Ship. He doesn't pay much attention to the Peanut Characters because he isn't familiar with them.
