No dehydrator? No jerky gun? No smoker? No problem. Chef Jed shows you how to make delicious beef or venison jerky at home using no special jerky making equipment. For this method, you'll need:
    Lean Ground Beef (90%)
    Honey BBQ Jerky Kit
    Parchment Paper
    Rolling Pin
    Metal Drying Rack
    Oven
    1. Combine seasoning and cure with ground beef and mix with water until evenly distributed.
    2. Roll into 1/4" thick square and transfer to metal drying rack. Score using a knife, pastry scraper or any straight edge. Alternatively, use a plastic bag to roll into jerky sticks.
    3. Bake at 170-180 degrees F with oven door slightly propped open. Bake for 4-5 hours or until jerky is dry to the touch and can be broken apart. Blot with paper towel, let cool and enjoy.

I've made a lot of jerky mostly for my daughter who is an outdoor person. She hunts , and fishes About all the time. She can field dress a deer real fast and have it all processed for the freezer faster than anyone I know . I like this procedure , I know now how to make the sticks that my 4 year old grandson loves. Sometimes he goes with his mom to go hunting. So thank you and I will be ordering as soon as possible.

Love the bag tip, it looks like it makes rolling out the meat sticks so much easier.
Is it just the 1 half of a ziploc and then you fold it up over the meat from the bottom?

@@PSSeasoning I will consider getting spice mixes from you, but I already bought a crap load of spices and liquid smoke, soy sauce, wishersire sauce. I've been following Jerkyholic! It will much easier to buy from you! Make my life easier! I don't know how much dehydrater will hold? Your recipes are for 5 pounds or more! I don't know how to figure out a lower amount, but I will look on Google! Thank you very much 👍❤️
