Santa Cruz Heckler mid-review report card :: 40one1000 Edition

Over the past month we have been putting in some serious trail hours aboard our Santa Cruz Heckler test bike, pushing it to its limits and beyond. We've now at the halfway point of our test period so how has the bike been performing so far and what have we got planned to test the bike even hard over the next few weeks?

Owned the Heckler 9 C Mx for almost two years, and it has been awesome. It has plenty of traction for climbing and comes alive on descents. Two complaints: the rear wheel seems to hangup on square hits, and the rear tire should have came with a downhill casing. I had a lot of pinch flats; CushCore helped but didn't solve until going to downhill casing. To finish on a positive about this rockin' bike is the sizing actually fits me perfectly. Where other bike brands medium were to small and large to big, Large on the heckler fits me just right to have a balanced bike.
