Amputee's Breathtaking Challenge: Colchuck Lake to Enchantments

I joined five friends on an epic backpacking trip to Stuart Lake, then to Colchuck Lake, across the boulder field, up Asgard Pass, into the Enchantments and back. Asgard Pass has a reputation as one of the hardest trails in Washington and I believe it! Come along with five of my friends and me and enjoy this adventure with us.

So amazing! You've done something I don't ever expect to do. I don't want to do the permit route so that would mean not camping. I can't do all that in a day. Stunningly beautiful! Reminds me of 3 Fingers. Maybe when I retire, I'll put in for permits. Thanks for taking us along. We'll done sir.

I was training for that hike for a month prior, one of the guys with us hadn't done as much training. That trail will reveal the difference. Worth it though. The views are breathtaking.
