Hope you enjoyed this glimpse of my routine in Bali ☺🌿 If you were to stay in a new place for a long time (let's say, a month!), would you also be looking for a routine? Or would every single day be a completely different one? I'm curious! 👀 (I need a routine to function!! haha)
📚Wow that cinema is so unique! What a great find! Yes, a routine definitely helps with longer stays. Coffee shop, yoga, bookstores, you definitely seem to easily adapt into other cultures. Love the sounds of the rainstorm!
I've never traveled with the intention of living somewhere for a long time and then leaving. But I have lived in Madrid for over 4 years. And yes, everywhere I go for traveling or living, I develop a routine. I have my favorite coffee shop in Madrid, my favorite neighborhoods. My favorite park, with a big man-made lake and coffee shops surrounding it. I love to go there for coffee and watch people rowing on the lake. But I also like to explore because in Madrid there are always new places to see and I love trying new restaurants because there is so much amazing food!
Very nice glimpse into the routine of a digital nomad in Ubud. I liked the parts with reading on the balcony with rainy ambience, cozy cinema, bookstore and yoga.
Can't go wrong with Ghibli movies (and yes, When Marnie was there had me crying like a baby too 😅) and the theatre is how every theatre should be, amazing!! You always find these amazing places to show us, like the bookstore. I never stay too long in a place (I think my longest vacation in one place has been 5 days, and I suppose I too would try to find a routine if I stayed any longer, like going to the same cafe for breakfast etc) As always thanks for sharing 📚💖
The music!! It was everything 🥺 I loved When Marnie was there!! ❤️ Right?? The coziness level were so high!! Oh nooo, 5 days is too short! Try 10 days next time, it's enough to "get around", do touristy things, but also experience "life like a local" ☺️ Thank you for watching until the end ☺️ 📚💖
That cinema was a great find! The theaters are also showing Ghibli movies in my city at the moment but I only get popcorn and not those scrumptious meals! I wished I could do yoga in such a beautiful yoga studio. You inspire me to get back to the practice! I took some notes from the books you have shown in this video! Very apt since I am doing a reading challenge this year and your video happened just at the right time as I have already met my goal so I extended the goal challenge! 📚📕📖📙📘📗
The meals were WAYYYY too high quality for a cinema!! I was FLOORED! So amazing to have delicious food while watching a movie! ☺️ Oooh please tell me what you think of the books!! ❤️
@@storiesofmilo Thanks to you video, I read "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" and I must thank you a bunch for this because it is the best book I have read this year. It was so uplifting and moving that it stayed in my mind for days afterwards. It's one of those novels that will never be forgotten. 💗
@@janecherie No way!! 🥺 That's wonderful! It makes me want to re-read it too now 😂❤ It's such a cozy read! Such a wonderful story! Do you have book recommendations for me? I'm kind of in a reading slump right now... By the way, there's a movie adaptation of the book, if you're interested! It's not aaaas goooood of course, but well, it's worth checking it out ☺
@@storiesofmilo “The Forest of Wool and Steel” by Natsu Miyashita if you want a slow-building atmospheric book, “Convenience Store Woman” by Sakaya Murata if you want a quick and witty novella, “Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries” by Heather Fawcett in you are into fantasy (or any book by that author because they are all fantastic IMHO), and “Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine” by Gail Honeyman if you are up for an emotional journey inside the life of a lonely woman who has a very mysterious past.
Oh wow wow wowww ! Just fantastic 🙌🤩 No talking , I love it !!!! Relaxing to watch too I will always be watching your vids ! I love Ubud too Big love from Australia 🇦🇺 😎
Your yoga practice is impressive! I've been trying to get into yoga myself, but it's hard to find the motivation 🙃 Thanks for sharing your Bali adventure with us. 🫶🏾🤗📚
Thank you for commenting and for watching until the end!! ❤️ 📚 I know you're young so you might not need yoga for now - it will come when your back starts hurting!! 😂
Hey 🫶 ! As usual, awesome vlog ! When are you coming to Koh Samui ? We could read, visit book stores, buy way too much stationery 😅😁 ! If one day you’re around, please let us know 🏝️🥥🍀
@@storiesofmilo yes we live in Koh Samui ! It’s just awesome 🏝️ ! We have a few cool stationery shops on the island but I’m thinking about opening my own ! A kind of bookstore-cafe-stationery shop with a art workshop (I’m a writer so art and creation is a huge part of my life 📚✨🦄) !
I want to see a movie there! The bookstore looks nice too. I'm not really into bestsellers, more rare literary fiction. I wonder if you can find that stuff there? 🤔
Whisper of the heart e Marnie são tão bons 🥹🥹 Olha, mais uma fã de R.F. Kuang!
Wifi was good at my guesthouse! Never had a bad connection! As for the living cost, I think Ubud might be less expensive than Canggu! I chose to live in the city center, so that made it more expensive too. If you choose to live in a villa which is 15min by scooter from the city center, it will probably be cheaper ☺️

@@storiesofmilo I wanna do longer stays eventually, I just never save up enough money 😅 I should learn to manage my finances better first 😂

I didn’t even know that Bali was in Indonesia, my dumbass thought it was in Thailand🤦♂️😂 Love the vlog btw
fair enough, lots of people thought Bali was its own country too!! 😂
