Nice video!! One thing i have to note: i mostly play Venom and, when engaging on the enemy backline, i don't recommend doing it with your shift. If the enemy team is half-competent they will out-damage your E and will soon kill you. Try climbing near surfaces and getting out of vision to then dive the backline. Most of the time you want them to come to your range, not the other way because your team may not be able to heal or follow-up the engage. Mostly use your shift as a escaping method, unless you are sure you ain't gonna die. Also, as your F cooldown is reasonably low, you can frequently fit it when fighting by climbing a not very tall place. It really disrupts the enemy team flow and leave them more vulnerable to your dps.
There are problems even in lower elos like silver: 1. You can literally see people rushing their picks as DPS because they don't want to play as tanks; as a result, team comp is 5 dps 1 healer/tank. You'd think the DPS at least are competent enough to focus enemy healers or something? nope. Final score 0/10/0 2. When people select tanks they really don't know what to do, they deep dive mindlessly, the rest of the damage dealers don't follow but the healer and both the tank and healer die doing nothing. 3. When people pick healers, they are more focused in DPSing than healing. I've had literally 5 guys hitting me while I am a tank, and my healer is next do me doing nothing. I know that since I've played venom and I have technically double life to see if they re healing me or not, and they aren't.
I typically get gifted healer and trusty sidekick every match since i main cloak and dagger, but I just can't get the team to the victory. It feels like every team i join people are crazy and dive in solo (when they aren't dive characters) while i spam daggers into their backs.
@Oblinski when you get teammates like this, you have to stop healing them only, as you can't rely on them to carry you. You'll need to look to make plays of your own, or help other teammates that are having more of an impact. Just let the bad plays go in and die, and hope that they can be enough of a distraction for you or another teammates can actually do something valuable.
With regard to Rocket I'd say don't just toss his revive beacon down anywhere; it's fragile and any enemy who knows what they're doing will kill it on sight so it's better to take a few seconds and find a decent hiding place for it (it's got a 50m range so it doesn't need to be right in the action either). Conversely, the beacon from his ult actually has a ton of health so it's really not that bad an idea to just toss it down in the midst of a fight; if the enemies do manage to destroy it the duration will be almost over by then anyway, and they'll have spent that time focusing on shooting the beacon instead of your damage boosted teammates. It also needs line of sight to boost allies so trying to get too clever with putting it behind cover can create problems when it comes to actually doing its job.
These tips are great, but what am I supposed to do when 70% of my losses in comp come from 3-4 ppl insta locking dps and proceeding to feed their brains out all game and blame healers or tanks meanwhile they spent 10 minutes trying to 1v6 and still getting out damaged and less elims than the solo tank and solo healer? Edit: I’m hard stuck plat since comp was released.
@@ChiquiTheGod Frr, i split main groot, strange, loki, and shark/cloak when more healing is needed, the amount of times ive been in team fights and genuinely run out of ways to carry harder is insane, sometimes i just switch to hela to wipe out their team even though its so much less enjoyable.
I always wait to see what my team picks. I usually end up playing vanguard or support. If my 5 other teammates pick duelist I just go with peni and watch them get wiped out. She's a self sustaining tank cause her webs heal
9:34 I've always played online multiplayer games on mute with strangers...I always thought this was the default because of shyness or just how toxic these games can get when competitive.
I play console. And for some reason voice chat is by default off. So I feel like a lot of ppl don’t even realize they can talk or they don’t care to figure out how
I cant believe how many bots make it to platinum... nothing worse than playing with a scarlet witch thats 1 and 7 and wont change... TheJeweler on ps5... yes im talking about you

@butter1909 this is the way.
I don't play venom alot, but I know that swinging in with your web to dive the backline is almost guaranteed death

2nd edit: at that point what do I have control of to swing the game in my favor. Heal them better? Lol solo tank better?

Great video

Best tip is don't play solo in low elos, its gonna get you nowhere
Awesome
