OMG, I hate having to dumb something down so far that it just doesn’t exist anymore. And I’m a trainer, can usually get anybody over an understanding hump, even if they don’t understand the math, etc, to get them to understand the stream of the process.
I completely agree. No matter how much I try to explain something, there is always someone that doesn't get it and I have to dumb it down way too much,
You are right that IMTP's have a need to tell the truth when they know they have the logic to get their, But, as IMTP's gain more knowledge and evolve their extravert processing strategies, they often are very manipulative and adapt to others personalities and use tactics to nudge them to the truth piece by piece as the person can take at the time. It can be an incredibly difficult thing for an INTP -- because they know that their logic is sound and if new information arisew they can adapt and change their logic. But after experience in earlier life not understanding how to explain and usually initially trying to just ram truth down ppls throats with logic and truth, that often people do not understand and feel attacked, they revise strategy and resort to manipulating people into logic a stepping stone at a time. It is a horrible position to be in for them. They have the answer but have to put on a dog and pony show and not be themselves to sometimes get ppl to understand. Even if an IMNT succeeds in their task, it takes an immense emotional and mental toll on them after and they often agonize over if there is a better less painful way to achieve truth in the future.
Open-mindedness is an excellent trait, which means they aren't racists or hierarchy conscious.
