I did Bondurants racing school in Phoenix with Hellcats. We did an Apex exercise where you are punishing the car and going fast for 33 mins straight. Gas went from 100 to 18% in that period of time.
I got a 72 Road Runner. Been sitting for 17 years now never had the money to fix it. Now that I have a house and kids are older I am ready to get it running again

You should seek to drive an American car prior to power brakes & power steering? Obviously, a decent one that's SAFE & in excellent running, order. Then, drive one of the newer, vehicles? My aunt had a '67 Ford Falcon (I'm a Chevy, man), that thing had a HUGE steering wheel & you would have to turn & turn & turn the wheel to steer the thing. The brakes were a STRONG SUGGESTION. The old cars are ALOT more fun to, drive. I would suggest start with driving as old of an American car you can, find? Then, get one approx 10ish years, newer? Then, the next generation, & the next generation, & so, on? Each car sort of has a personality/character of it's, own? I have 2K+ friends online from 100+ different, nations. I wish you could come to America & fulfill your automotive passion. ✌️❤️

And of course our cars are smaller overall because of the narrower roads and shorter distances that we travel here in Europe. Those cars back then did not have power steering or braking so our driving skills improved pretty good especially in the mountain areas :) Later in the 90's when the borders opened we started importing all sorts of cars. I'm 42 now so was a teenager then but i remember riding in some fine german and italian automobiles. My first car was an american brand how about that? :) I bought it brand new in 2011 and it was the chevy cruze with the ecotech 4 valve 1.6 liter naturally aspirated engine that did the job for me and my family for 13 years until i had to change it this year because it started leaking oil. I've been in USA back in 2009 but only for a week because i was working. I was in McKinney, Texas. Would love to visit soon after my kid grows some more and he will not be scared of flying over the ocean anymore :) I currently drive a Skoda Kodiaq which is a volkswagen group 4x4 SUV with a 2 liter turbo-charged engine 200 HP that is plenty enough for our needs. It's a pleasure to drive and grabs the road remarkably well. Cheers buddy !
I had a 70 Cuda, 383 all the bells and whistles. Lots of power very quick. Fun to drive. If you ever get a chance to drive one. Go for it you won't regret it.
There were lots of combos of the 426 hemi built in several models .... But in the year 1970 there were only 3 hemi cuda with the 426 v8 two quad carbs four speed on the floor convertible top bucket seats ever made .. and I happen to know a person who has one of the three ever made that is still complete in perfect running order and spotless as the day it was made
my truck is american and it has 400hp from a 5.7 naturaly aspirated and at low revs. it smokes just about anything you find here on the roads in europe other than expensive sportscars

Make 2x HP of any NASCAR blue oval or bow tie ever did .. Richard Petty was our favorite straight shooter with a loose Cannon...saying can't beat us join us ...and once upon a Time in a very old black and white photo there was a flock of winged super birds with extented nose cones up on the high bank ridden dirty ..and NO Ford or Chevy fanbois in the stands. all came down with pandemic of butt hurt

I had a '72 Satellite Sebring with that exact body style. Ran good for a twinky little 318 with all of 150 horse power. But once I got home from the Army I bought a Ford F100 with a 390FE motor and 3 speed on the collumn. You could pull stumps with that truck if you could get enough traction.❤

Drove it home from Fort Polk, Louisiana and had it a couple years before the engine finally was just too worn out to keep going. It ended up with over an inch of main bearing clearance and the timing pulley would venture out from the engine about an inch and then go back in again during idle. Needless to say that even though it was still running it had 0 power.🤣🤣🤣 I ended up selling the transmission to my brother-in-law and pulling the rear axle and leaf springs out of it by hand. I can't tell you how many Craftsman and Eastman wrenches I broke in half while trying to get that rear axle out from under that car. I was incredibly strong in those days. Now I'm just a frail old man whose body is falling apart. If you happen to find one that's not being used that's quite a bit younger than mine let me know cuz I could sure put it to use.😉🤣🤣🤣
