I just bought the same one, great guitar holds tuning pretty well for price sounds good. Only complaint is I wish they put the volume knob a little lower on the body.
Havent picked a guitar up for over 10 years, recently fell back in love with the idea, not wanting to spend a lot as im starting out again, my JS11 is being delivered this morning, only problem is im not gonna be able to play till after work tonight!
I’ve watched a great many reviews of this guitar, but yours is my new favorite! Your obvious love of music shows, and that’s what playing should be about. Thank you so much for posting this review and for showing that we should enjoy playing without fear of trying new things. Take care!
you have so much experience with all the guitar. love the way u explain with all the detail & information. thankyou for reviewing this guitar. going to buy it soon 🙏🏼
I love the Jackson JS11! I bought one for my office because it was the least expensive guitar I found. Loved it so much, I bought three more; planning on getting another two in the near future. They make great guitars for repainting because the black hardware looks good with any color.
jUst got one of these yesterday, truly a bang for the buck. I was disappointed to find 22 frets cuz the js12 has 24. But hearing its killer sound, it packs a punch.
It really does pack a punch and once I got my Trem set up to float, I was so pleased If you haven't tried this method I highly recommend it Trem setup notes from Carl Verheyen ua-cam.com/video/Iy-F7iSIopA/v-deo.htmlsi=1mXA7yXSfK_J8H0D 1. Thanks so much! Unless you get a bad one (which you can always send back), it's a great guitar, and you just can't go wrong with it. If you're not savvy to setting up a trem system, watch a few videos and get it set up, and it works good. Good luck, and thanks again!
You from Oregon? I just bought a white one of these should be here on Thursday. Never had a brand new in the box guitar before, I’m pretty excited. I actually did buy a new in box bass once but that doesn’t count lol
Thanks on the shirt. It's a great little hamburger joint on the way to Silver Falls. It's called Silver Falls Country store, worth it, no doubt 👌 Congratulations on your new guitar, it's a cool looking and a good player as well. You may need a bit of setup, so just find a local shop and have it setup if you don't know how. Enjoy
When I got mine I actually ordered the 24 fret. It came in a box that described it as being a 24 fret but when I opened the box it was 22 frets. I believe somebody ordered it. Took the neck off of it and put the neck off of their 22 Fred guitar on my guitar. I will never buy another Jackson guitar. They would not give me my money back and they wouldn't let me change it...
Thank you and take it in small bites, its quite amazing what 15 minutes a day focused on playing (leaving your judgements on yourself aside) can do. Much better than once a week craming 2 or 3 hours in and getting frustrated. Find a teacher that you jive with and stick with it a little bit at a time. The key is consistency in small bites
I have a bunch of Jacksons, all ranges , including one of those, bargain. Very nice 2 point trem and block especially on an entry level guitar. Pop in arm!
Thanks for chiming in. Yep got to love these Jackson guitars. It's my first Jackson and I am impressed. Had no problem floating the tremolo system. Having said that it could do with a Graphtech.com nut and locking tuners but using Fruda's method it stays in tune with big bends and dive bombing just fine. Thanks again
@Michał Nieradko it simply slips in the hole and should have a light tension on it, so it stays where you rotate it too. If yours doesn't have enough tension to stay in one place (mine does), you can try a couple of layers of teflon tape around the end (so you can not see it). Then insert it and you should be good to go.
@Gloomski watch them all UA-cam it's about how to adjust your tremelo on a guitar that has a whammy bar. ua-cam.com/video/7luUzgDwwcs/v-deo.htmlsi=prSchIsBYu8oSHJJ
The whammy bar on my JS11 measures 5.20mm on its diameter. This Musiclily replacement says 5.5 and has the tiny groove needed for the Jackson Dinky JS11 bridge hole, so no guarantees but my money is on this one. If it doesn't fit, you can always send it back Good luck Musiclily Pro 5.5mm Push-in Steel Tremolo Arm Whammy Bar Vibrato Arm for Strat Style Electric Guitar, Black a.co/d/bQT3QCU
Both are good guitars, it comes down to personal choice and your budget. This one is less expensive, and you'll need an amp, so if money is a concern go with this one
I got one ....Action is horrible..Good for practice..I would go for yamaha pacifa instead of Jackson dinky ..or cort guitars are far better for Acoustic and distortion..
With any online guitar, it's "luck of the draw" on a factory setup, and like I always say, if you can not do a proper setup, factor in the cost of a good setup it makes all the difference on whatever guitar you buy. Good luck to you on your search for the guitar that is just right for you.
Все не плохо, но... Во-первых мензура, во-вторых высота струн над грифом(у вас очень высоко) поэтому строя нет... Ещё перечислять ваши ошибки? Не профессиональный обзор, гитару настройте сначала
This was straight out of the box, and therefore, any movement to the whammy bar throws the guitar out of tune. After changing the nut to a Tusq and floating the tremolo system, it stays in tune just fine Thanks for your comments 🙂
I've just bought in metallic red, I'm very happy with it. Thank for your review! Best Regards, Federico.
Great to hear!

Same. I've not played for a decade. Comes in three days. This review made me even more excited!
Cool enjoy 😉, I had minimal things to do to set mine up. Later, I added a bone nut, and it really made a difference

Cool video. I subscribed. Your attitude is great. You are on your way to shredding. I'm considering getting this guitar for the wammy bar and price.

You can't beat them for the price they sell them for it's pretty good quality they play just as good as a 3-4 $500
So true
How much does this guitar weigh??
About 8 lbs
Is this guitar a good choise if i wanna start learn playing guitar right now? Or better pick up an jackson JS1X RR minion ah?
Both are good guitars, it comes down to personal choice and your budget. This one is less expensive, and you'll need an amp, so if money is a concern go with this one
For learning to play..Do with an acoustic guitar..For ear training
For the price of that guitar you can save some money to get one of those and buy a decent amp and you got a ring rig.
