- Woke up early 7am to be down here before everyone and their kids arrived and it's awful 😞
it's one thing to see it on the news but to see it in person, wow!
thank you to the firemen who've been working their tails off with this! plus thank goodness it wasn't windy or we'd be in a different situation here ...

Was a firefighter for 7 years. Hurt my back had to have surgery. But all that time helping others and saving life’s and property never once got old. God bless all first responders!!!

I heard on the news this morning that there was a fatality…so sad. It could have been a lot worse, as you said, if the wind had been blowing…Fire dept. is doing a great job keeping on top of everything. Thanks for the video update👍

in from the UK and have been Following this as I have always wanted to visit Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but never got the chance yet to visit the U.S.A as im a big dolly fan BUT more than that the scenery is just Beautiful! ..My thoughts and Prayers go out to all those affected by this fire, businesses, those that have lost jobs, and the hard work of the firefighters who spent many hrs there battling the fire ect BUT MOST OF ALL my prayers and thoughts go to the Family who has lost a loved one in this fire as sadly they have found a body in the rubble according to news sites over there 😢

Me and my wife we down there when it happened and saw the smoke that night and thought what in the world is that and the next morning we walked down and saw the same scene you saw and was like oh goodness and how the other business next door and the Inn didn't get hit by it was a blessing
