The Ballroom of Romance by Chris de Burgh is from the 1986 album 'Into The Light'. This album and others by Chris de Burgh can still be purchased online at: www.cdeb.com
This was definitely Chris's best band Saw him lots of times with these Wish I could go back on time and see them again, they were amazing, great musicians 🤔😁👍🏻💥👌
Same here. Started when my uncle at the end of a radio interview asked the moderator to play "Don't pay the ferryman" in the early Eighties. I was there in front of the radio, armed with a tape recorder. Later, I played the song over and over again. Other songs made me hum and whistle all through the day in the later years. I bought "Spanish train" in the Nineties (man, was I late to the party!), other albums followed in quick succession. It's not that I love every single song made by CdB, some are too schmalzy even for a Pop lover and softy like me. But his way of storytelling is marvellous. I usually picture his stories in my head. I wonder, though, if his music videos were felt to be a bit wacky back then, too. I mean, CdB is gifted in many ways, but acting is not his forte ;)
🎼🌞💡🎸♥️🎷💡🌞🎼 Nemecký hudobný skladateľ R. A. Schumann sa veľmi pekne slovami vyjadril: 🦉"Povolanie umelca je vysielať svetlo do hĺbky ľudského srdca". 🦉 Podľa môjho názoru ChdeB rozhodne umelec je a určite vysiela už dlhé roky svetlo nielen do môjho srdca. Táto skladba z jeho repertoáru ma trošku prekvapila, no zároveň očarila.
Hello PCD!
1:41 for the man walking into the room, seeing that they're filming, and walking out again

In her bmw 635...used to love this when i was 18 in 1990 and had Bmw my 'six thirty five'
Impecable , te admiro Chris !!!! Un abrazo desde Argentina .
Nice memory
New to me. Great tune.
Would be better if it was re-formatted to it's original 4:3 format instead of being streached to 16:9. Great track though.
