What a fantastic result! So gorgeous. You must be thrilled to have mastered the double weave.
Like you I’ve watched lots of videos but still don’t feel quite confident to try.
Would you consider making a video of how you warped it up? You’re really good at explaining techniques.
I would be happy to do a video, and was actually considering it already. It isn't terribly difficult once you have it figured out, but I had a really hard time getting to that point. I even gave up and cut my first attempt off the loom, which is very unusual for me because I'm too stubborn to admit defeat. Double weave broke me though! 😆 So it occurred to me that if I was having this much trouble others might be too.
@@magpieandmolly oh hooray! I, and many other followers will be super excited to see how it’s done. And thank you for considering to film the process.
When you opened up your scarf into a wrap right off the loom, blammo I was flabbergasted! I’ve heard of double weave, but I’d never seen it before. Amazing!!!!
Isn't it? The first time I did it successfully I was astounded.
The double weave looks great. I would have thought the join, or fold would be obvious but you can’t see it at all. Haven’t tried it yet. You are inspiring me! ❤
I was amazed the first time I opened one up. I expected the same thing. 😄
Now I have to figure out double weave….. it’s beautiful.
It really is!
great colors
Thank you!
Wow, that is gorgeous! I haven't tried double weave yet.
It's time consuming but really fun!
from Gerry- The results are stunning. I have never seen this yarn but I will look for it now. Be blessed.
It was hard to find, but SO worth it! 😊
RHSS Ombré!!
I can add that to my list ! 🙂
Please consider showing us your way to do the double weave
I'm working on a video right now. 😊
I am so excited!
The concept of your videos is amazingly helpful, you are very informative, the videos are moving along at a great pace and you are good to listen to. Thank you for all you great work
@@kevincoffey7231 You've just made my day! Thank you so much, I really appreciate the encouragement.
All true!
These colors are wonderful! I love this. I have the 16" cricket and a 32" Kromski so I have never learned how to work with a double heddle. Did you use the same in the warp and the weft? Blessings.
Yes, the Roll With It was warp and weft. 🙂
Whoa! How did you make that twice as wide? I was hoping you would do this yarn it’s absolutely gorgeous!
Double weave is magical! You weave 2 separate layers, and can connect one side (I connected the left edge) or you can even connect both sides and weave a tube!
Please make a video tutorial on this please! Thank you for your videos. They are inspiring and informative.
Thank you so much! I have a double weave series if you haven't seen it already. 😊 ua-cam.com/video/btrlMHSWpns/v-deo.html
❤I can’t figure it out, can you explain it,thank you,,beautiful
Double weave is weaving 2 layers of fabric at the same time. You can connect/join one edge to make fabric twice as wide, like I did in this video. You can also connect both edges to weave a tube, which is really fun too. The other thing you can do with double weave is to double the sett of your finished fabric, but I haven't tried this yet. I'm seriously considering making a double weave tutorial, so keep an eye out. 😊
Almost has a plaidish look.
It does!
