Yeah, you can play as HK-55 briefly in the Knights of the Fallen Empire Expansion. What you're seeing here is mostly taken from that mission.

In Star Wars they wipe droid memories because the longer they go without it the more of a personality they would develop.
Glad they didn't with R2-D2. Though I don't think it helped much with C3P0...

HK-55 has a mini story for KOTFE expansion but it’s cost money
HK-47 lived all the way into the clone wars era
He... he cut out all the best parts with the Exarch that gave context to what happened. And he missed the best HK stuff! Where's the epic battle in the swamps with the ever multiplying Spiderling horde? Where's the time HK was ordered to get the animals out of the ship and clean up after them, and found out he could get the animals out by spraying them with ultra-pressurized superheated cleaner-liquid to complete both objectives at once? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see another of these and have it not be based off one that came before, but... the missed potential. Ouch. x.x
