I have a 2009 GT G8 and the screen on my radio display has something on it that will not come off and I need to replace it. Do you have a source where I could get a replacement? Thanks for your help!
I've contacted the company you ordered from. But they say they no longer include the shorter gear surround. Did you get a shorter gear surround, or use your original? If you used the original did you have any issues with fitment?
My kit was supplied with the shorter surround for the window and trac. Switch’s. I must’ve gotten one of the last few in stock. These parts are becoming very scarce, as you can tell we are having to outsource to Australia lol. The factory bezel Will not be compatible. Your best option is to make a post on a g8 page on Facebook or forum . Best of luck!
Figured I would lst everybody know that's interested in this kit, they've responded to my same question, apparently they are available from them. But due to them being harder to come by, they are an added cost, and the price depends on the condition and color I'd the piece.
On the patch harness is an extra bundle that you’ll have to feed up to the dome lights where the factory one is or run an External. My g8 has the voice Bluetooth, but that mic isn’t associated with it unfortunately

Where did you mount the USB and aux port? Or is that all in the center console on a G8? The caprice doesn’t have that from the factory
I'm old school and still have a lot of older CDs that I like to listen to. Is the CD player a single disc or holds multiple CDs like the stock one?
@JadXtreme I'm with you. These new units are nice, but there is something about the old school stock 6 disc CD changer with all the analog buttons.

What did you do/use as far a Bluetooth mic? Getting ready to install mine in a g8. Wasn't sure how to wire up my factory mic to the iq unit

What a stupid interior setup in a G8. Return it back to stock right now. I gave the video a dislike to. That is probably the worst mod ever.
