For those wondering how the G8 lost to the Supercharged Fiero but did a quicker E.T. was because the G8 left the line after the Fiero. The time doesn't start until after you break the beams. - Авто та транспорт

I baseline ran mine about 3 weeks ago with a Spectre CAI and Solo cat backs, 13.85 at 102, Cam and DOD delete is on order, should be here in a few weeks.

What tools do I need

Can you tell me where you purchased the bulk of the parts? I have the '09 G8 GT and am having trouble finding the cam and delete plate, etc. Best video I've seen for this upgrade.

This is will be my first cam swap, how do you ensure that you’re not out of timing when you reinstall?
You just have to line up the timing marks on the cam gear to crank gear. Cam gear at 6 o clock and crank gear at 12 o clock. Pretty simple!
What harmonic pulley is that I’m having trouble pulling mines off with a big three claw pulley
It's a Mopar one! They work the best

@ihityourspxwn9222 we had to get a engine bar across the engine bay and lift the motor up

Do you have stock heads? What head gaskets should I used when doing a dod delete?
@@MNBRETRO stock heads yes. Just stock metal head gaskets
@@The1st60ft curious if you had to pull your trans back a bit to reach the rear oil pan bolts, trying to get to my pickup tube and that driver rear bolt seems to be sunk into the bellhousing just enough that i cant get a socket on it

My G8 needs a cam ASAP. And a converter. I can’t spin my tires unless I really really try.
I hear ya there! Same issue with this one before. They really benefit from gears as well, those 2.92s make the car a slug. We grabbed a 3.27 diff from a V6 Camaro (cheap$$) and we're gonna see the improvements
@@The1st60ft yeah gears are great. I got some 3.45’s and my car is faster but it still doesn’t want to spin. It’s weird.

Just remember don't look at your cam bearings or they will be bad
