Lake George Wild Forest October 2022

Weekend solo backpacking trip to Lapland Pond, Black Mountain and Fishbrook Pond in the Lake George Wild Forest, October 2022. Went in late on Friday, arrived at the Lapland lean-to in the dark (first solo night hike) for 2 miles, Saturday up and over Black Mountain and then to Fishbrook Pond for 7.7 miles (hammock camped near the northern lean-to). Out on Sunday for 4.7 miles (14 mile weekend).
