I'm a Year 13 Languages student, studying at about an A grade and going on to do Modern Langs at Durham in September! So in the last 2 years I've picked up some tips. Get yourself an exercise book, and write down every word you read that you don't know in alphabetical order. Then when you're writing essays use a few of the words each time, until you get used to them. Grammar is all about exercises, there's hundreds online. Also, when I was starting out I made posters for each tense and stuck them everywhere (I still have a big poster of every French tense above my desk just incase). Translation is my favourite part of language learning, and also very useful for vocab gathering. I pick an article (in either target or native language) and spend 30/40 minutes translating it. Then a week later I come back and back-translate so I can check it. Listening & reading are again for me all about past papers, websites and worksheets I find online.
More importantly; have fun with your language! You are part of the small minority who are becoming multilingual, and that's really cool. Watch UA-cam (my teacher is obsessed with this and gives us new channels all the time, but it's easy enough for you to do so), watch films, listen to music. Whatever you do in your native language, do it in your target. Make it part of your everyday life, so it just becomes normal seeing tweets in your target language on your homescreen.

Ammara The best way to revise maths, for me, is to use mathswatch & corbett maths (both have videos of each topic and a bunch of questions) You could also buy a cgp maths Revision guide as that is very useful too, for me anyway

If you want to just listen to French, Rach Martino and Patricia B en Francais are both good youtubers. Music also helps me - Indila and Louane have some great songs! Hope that's any help, but if you look up 'French' or something similar on UA-cam I am certain you'll find some good channels.

I'm in year 7 and having my fist Spanish speaking exam. I love spanish and looking forward to showing off what I've learnt but I was only told about it and prepared it today and I have from today until Monday to revise! This is so much help xx
French A-Level was really hard for me but so worth taking it! also i would recommend re-taking speaking exams in A2, i went from a C to getting 2 away from full marks in it! With languages, you always improve with time:)

guys she doesn't need to do a fucking maths one, all you need to do for maths is learn how to answer a question (eg the formula or method etc) and then PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE

I have a speaking exam about my town in German on monday😭 What I do is write out the question I am being asked in the front of a post it note then I write my answer and what the question means on the back. I stick them up around my room and whenever I see one I try to answer the question in German. I hope this helps anyone who is doing German.

Thanks for this, I'm not doing GCSEs or a levels so I have lit no resources anywhere but I rlly needed to know what to do for revision for higher French (similar to as level I think)
I do IGCSE French (higher) for the vocab I use a site called Memrise. I also take GCSE Latin, it's saved my life. Just search up your course and exam board, there should be a course with all your vocab. Also, past papers for the writing, reading and listening. Get your teacher to mark your writing, you can self mark reading and listening. Good luck

chloe alexandra defo not too much I did french and Italian for GCSE and got A* in every component (reading, listening, speaking, writing) in both languages. It’s not impossible especially for us quick learners!

The new spec gcse does have a set vocab list in the specification
There is so many great German films and with the WJEC were doing "das Pferd auf dem Balkon"
I find it's really useful, if you have a parent or friend who had an understanding of the language, to talk to them like you would in English, - but in a different language. Don't come across forced when speaking, try to sound like you know what pure saying
