no vinyl is actually dishwasher safe bc of the drying heat melt the adhesive pending your dishwasher or if a dishwasher protective is put on the design

Lol thanks for the video but please use that same alcohol and clean the alcohol bottle it looked gross on the video.
It's a must to apply liquid on the mug before using the mini heat press

You can seal the vynil with a dishwasher safe modge podge or any other water based ceramic sealant
This the proper way to do a demo. Get down to business right away.
Cricut Permanent vinyl (and ORACAL 651) is the best on a mug so far from UA-camrs. (dishwasher safe)
Oracal 651 on a mug is not dishwasher safe

Htv on mine came out if I rubbed it. But permanent adhesive stayed on. I don't know if yours stayed on

That looks like a simple dollar store mug that she then cleaned with rubbing alcohol. But I don’t know what materials she used.

I think HTV is so that its securely on and so it's ok for everyday use. Washing and microwave use?
It seems to stick better through washings.
Because regular vinyl is nothing more than a sticker. You are basically “melting” this on by applying high heat.

It comes attached to the HTV when you buy it, you only cut through the vinyl, leaving the clear paper behind.
