Yeah that would be cool, this run could pretty easily save like 10 minutes from optimizing some things and just going faster. Even just a glitchless category could be pretty cool to have, although it would be more downtime from travelling around the map
No zuggling could be a good speedrun category, because the one thing I hate is that the totk speedrun has barely any hard combat
@@poofyfox6751 Yeah some of the early speedruns you had to fight the boss rush into gannon (before zuggle and stuff was found), which was a lot of fun
I feel like all the movement glitches are fair and skill based, but zuggle skips skill based boss combat.

i enjoyed the vid, but would have loved to see more clips of the setup. theres probably a lot of funny moments we missed in there
Throughout all of the attempts yeah there are some good moments, but for this run the setup didn't have that much stuff. I didn't really want to take a ton of time showing like the "resets" on just setup and stuff and more just focused on the actual run that won. I do think stuff like that can be good to show for sure though, just didn't fit this video; I'll keep it in mind though thank you for the feedback :)

Probably about 10 attempts that got past great sky island, overall probably around 20 or so
Insane Ganon fight. You were so clutch though almost ran into that one gloom blast on the ground 😂

finally someone who does a challenge without using glitches. literally any "challenge" is irrelevant when glitches get involved in this game so props to you for actually doing something difficult and HANDICAPPING yourself which is the whole point and fun of such challenges.
I think some challenges using glitches can be fine, as long as it doesn't take away from the challenge, but yeah I feel that. I also did the zonai devices only run which was entirely glitchless as well :)

What’s the difference between damages and hitless
There are sources of damage like gloom that can deal damage to you without "hitting" you like an enemy would. Also self-inflicted damage/fall damage wouldn't really count as a hit

how did you get through the door at the end of the great sky island?
That's fake damage not real damage, but yeah I did just kinda forget about covering that in the video. It's required to proceed with the game, so I'm technically not counting it as damage, you also get your health given back to you once you succeed
Love to see your run recaps! Cool to see glitchless. Total run time is only roughly an hour longer than any% WR it seems. Your commentary is way better than sitting watching great sky islands for half an any% vid. Sidon simps unite!
Thought it was a good video! Only thing I would enjoy is hearing your plan more in depth before you hit the boss rush. (Weapons you need to pick up/ways you're going to take out creatures etc)
