Vitaly, Devon, Larry, all guys who give so much back to those around them learning.. and to the sport in general... those are the kind of ambassadors who bring many people to the sport, and grow it more and more.... one of the reasons why Devon has aways had so many followers I think is he always puts the sport first, and so much of what he does is because of how much he loves the sport. Visiting pulling clubs all over the world, doing lectures for just enough to pay for his plane tickets, sometimes not even, but because he loves it, and loves to spread the word. He goes on tv appearances and is a great spokesman for arm wrestling like he did with Shaq, the Mountain, with that large wrestler dude, etc. And here Vitaly is really doing a great job again as an ambassador for the sport, sharing techniques with Larry and everyone who watches this.. Some guys horde their knowledge and give almost nothing back, guys like Vitaly, Larry, are constantly sharing their knowledge with anybody... Those are the true warriors, and guys who are not scared of someone getting better because they learn something off them, as they are confident in their own dedication. And in the end by sharing you get 10 times as much back anyway.. something some people just never get, who never show anyone else how to get better, and only want to show how strong they are on the table, but never teach like Vitaly did here.. .or Devon does all the time... As much as I love John, i wish he was more open sometimes, and into teaching more people, for the longest time he was the spokesman for the sport, and never did the tings that Devon or even guys like Vitaly here have done to grow the sport... it was always about what he could get out of it. Even with the movie Over The Top, John didn't seem to care about spreading the sport, he just wanted to win that truck and said so... I'm glad the sport is growing and has gotten to the point where people like Devon, Vitaly, etc are starting to be able to make money off the matches, and betting, etc so they can pretty much survive just doing this, and little side things here and there.. hopefully in 10 years the top 10 or so atheletes can fully live off just arm wrestling and make decent income...
