- Here's a crafting tip that will save you a ton of time and materials. You can transfer your digital cosplay patterns onto EVA foam using an inkjet printer and wax paper. This works especially well for pepakura patterns and for aligning details on foam armor and props.

will you make a video or have suggestions on videos on how to make your own patterns? to later use this method to transfer.
How do you scale each part and make them larger? Im currently trying to make shin guards
Oh no!!! .....this video was at 69 likes then I liked the video....now it's at 70 :( LOL
Fantastic! Are there any settings in the printer that you change? Like for the paper type or anything?
I haven't really tested changing settings because the default ones worked fine for me. Might vary from printer to printer. Really curious to hear how this works for others.
would this work with cardboard i mean its ink so i think it should work
Yeap! I learned this technique from woodcarvers and wood burners. You are right, it's just ink.
This sounds (to me) like a lot more faff than just printing normally, drawing around the foam and cutting it out. There are more steps involved with this. I'm not sure how this is supposed to save time, especially when it requires more effort and also trying to not get ink all over you. So, not for me.
Yah, not really practical for a one-off pattern or simple shapes. But, the sheet is reusable and not all patterns are simple to trace.
How is the ink once you transfer it to the eva foam? Is it still really smudgeable?
Give it a minute to dry and you can handle it no problem. Just keep in mind that water (and water based products) will cause the ink to run so this is really just good for marking up your foam for cutting and gluing.
Bahan apa yang digunakan?
It's very good,
